With OSX you can sort of get around (click a link in my signature and it will bring up 14R guide) Dell QuickSet and every other piece of Dell software will make your computer freeze up completely as soon as it starts if you install in UEFI mode. [Direct download link] (website link) There is a working PMPatched v2.0 of this BIOS floating around (here); I'm using it atm. There's also a v2.10 of the BIOS that someone else had run PMPatch on (here), but when I tried flashing it just spat out a security flag and wouldn't go. Thanks. Demonbane Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 Hallo CodeRush, ich hab schon mal versucht, das originale Bios zu patchen, ja natürlich funktioniert es. aber beim Flash versagt. das gepatchte Bios kann nicht durch offizielles Werkzeug aktuellisiert werden, weil es gepatcht wird. und durch fptw64.exe geht auch nicht, wegen der "write Protection". und dann ich hab ein Werkzeug für insyde bios benutzt, das "fla{censored}.exe" heißt, aber es kann nur ein Bios mit dem Umfang 1024KB flashen, sonst tritt ein Fehler auf: "This ROM file size isn't correct." Deshalb hab ich durch das Werkzeug "fla{censored}.exe" ein Bios-Backup mit 1024KB gemacht, aber unglücklicherweise kann dieses Bios-Backup gar nicht durch PMPatch gepatcht werden. Was kann ich jetzt noch machen? Entshuldigung für mein armes Deutsch wegen des Deutschlernens hab ich schon mein alles English vergessen Hier ist das 1024KB Bios, das nicht gepatcht werden kann. im Übrigen, kann man mit fptw64 ein Bios-Backup mit 1024KB erzeugen? No, it doesn't work OOB. The only P states that get generated are for Turbo. The only way to have my system stable is to lock my SpeedStep... PM match is not working for my Board having the same error code as ameris cyning ? Is it a way to make it work ?
