Install with Chameleon boot loader6. Finish install7. Boot to new mac install with -x (safemode), it won't boot normally as it would stuck in grey screen + beachball8. Go through initial setup, no network right now, realtek chip not detected.9. Boot again in safemode to install FIX and Kext FIX:you will need to connect your mac with another method, as the lan not detected yet, i use usb disk with HFS formatted to download everything i need from another computer. 10. Realtek Lan : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/287161-new-driver-for-realtek-rtl8111/ and then use kext-dev-mode=1 or it would not work. Also use npci=0x2000 not 3000, more stable with network adapters.12. HD5670 resolution fix : open chameleon wizard add GraphicsEnabler=No, Ati Config = Baboon, Ati Ports 3 and Graphic Mode 1920x1080x32 (Full QE/CI, Dual monitor OK) Working out of box : - USB3 (internal & external card) 1 port only , mouse, keyboard, external sound - Shutdown, restart - Appstore (minor fix) Not working: - Sleep - Icloud & Imessage (need serial number)On clover everything works except only in safe mode, when i boot normally got hanging beachball.

Moosehead1
Here's my Successful Hackintosh on Nishera's OS X Mavericks 10.9 CPU: AMD FX-8320 8-Core 3.79GHz. OS X shows it as 3.79GHz Unknown. MB: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 RAM: 4 GB 1066MHz DDR3 (2 x 4 GB) CHIPSET: AMD 990FX/SB950 SATA: OS X HD (320 GB) plugged into top first SATA port with Windows HD (500 GB) on Bottom First SATA Port with DVD Drive on Top Second SATA port, these show up under ASMedia ASM1061. DVD detected as the Correct Brand Name along with its Model number. OS X uses Generic AHCI Controller for DVD Drive. OS X does keep the DVD Drive scanning every so often. Don't think OS X detects the 2 eSATA ports on back I/O. IDE: IDE port visible but no Floppy installed USB: Two front detected as USB 3.1 ( which it is ), back 8 USB 2.1 ports show as USB 2.1 along with back 4 USB 3.1 Ports detected as USB 3.1. All is good, OS X detects USB as external devices. GPU: ASUS GeForce GT 730 2GB of DDR3 Memory. OS X shows it as 2989 MB not 2GB. OS X doesn't load drivers for it, instead look for NVIDIA's WebDriver-331.01.01b07.pkg online and set it to NVIDIA Web Driver NOT OS X Default Graphics Driver. LAN: Realtek RTL8111F Gigabit LAN Controller. Work's in OS X. SOUND: Realtek ALC892 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC. Front Microphone does not work. Stereo (Line Out) works. Line Out with Speakers play static, most likely something to do with VoodooHDA kext. PS/2: Have not tried it. Not likely to work. Sleep Mode works perfectly. Is able to press key on keyboard to suddenly wake up at login screen. Bootloader: Newest Chameleon + Chimera to boot up OS X Mavericks. Can only boot the Chimera through BIOS. I installed using USB Use this link: http://www.sullitec.com/hackintosh.html to guide you through the Preparation and Installation of Nishera's OS X Mavericks 10.9. On startup wait till the computer reboots to the 'The Ultimate Force' then press [Delete] > Then in Advance Mode > Boot > Scroll down to bottom and click on your OS X's HD to override boot. Hope this helped

ArgenLant
in addition to 10.8.5 I used my intel hack for installing 10.10.4 with 10.10.3 Kernel: installed 10.10.4 on second HDD of intel hack, installed kernel and NullCPUPowermanagement with AMD Installer, made dmg from that system and restored dmg to free partition on my amd hack patched IOPCIFamily.kext + AppleACPIPlattform.kext from above messages required for working system without crashes and freezes Replaced kexts in /S/L/E/ - patched IOPCIFamily.kext + AppleACPIPlattform.kext and pthread.kext from AMD Installer All other kexts inject by Clover 2953 from /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10 Geforce GTX 670 - works without injecting or with web-driver M-Audio Revolution 7.1 works with the same Envy24HTPCIAudioDriver.kext as in 10.8.5 LAN Realtek8111 works with Realtek8111.kext v2.0.0 USB 3 - works with GenericUSBXHCI.kext USB 2 incompatible with sleep, but works Also my Wacom Intuos 2 5x4 tablet works with old unsigned driver 6.2.0w4, but can't use prefpanel: need to backup settings from 10.8.5 and restore it in 10.10.4 (but this problem with all Intuos2 tablets in 10.10) Bootargs in clover: npci=0x2000 -v Bootarg in system com.apple.Boot.plist: kext-dev-mode=1 Just updated to 10.10.5 and 14.5.0 SSEPlus_v3 kernel. disconnected hdd with yosemite from amd hack and connected it to intel hack through usb-sata adapter booted from yosemite from usb with clover updated system with the official update OSXUpd10.10.5.pkg rebooted replaced kernel and installed patched IOPCIFamily.kext + AppleACPIPlattform.kext with Kext Utility 2.6.4 ensured system alive on intel hack and moved hdd back to AMD hack I also replaced Wacom Intuos 2 5x4 by Intus 3 A5 and now not need backup/restore settings from 10.8.5

Mr. Xtreme
My build: AMD Athlon II X3 OCed from 3.21 GHZ to 3.6x GHZ (Hoping to reach 4.00 GHZ I couldn't do up to 4.0 GHz I got a FX 6300 and am hoping to install yosemite on this build with it). Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard 1 Ballistix 4 GB 1600 MHZ DDR3 RAM Stick ZOTAC GeForce GT 220 Video Card OS X 10.10 Yosemite with Bronya's RC3 kernel And a lot of patience Oh and these boot flags "GraphicsEnabler=Yes kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x3000" Drivers/Kexts VoodooHDA for Audio, RTL81111 network kext and generic USB 3.0 kext Usability status unknown: PS2 USB 3.0 HDMI (Onboard and on video card) SPDI/F Audio. First of all I couldn't have done this without the help of Spakk, Manumental, Bronya, Mieze and others . So the above was my build it was decomissioned as a hackintosh and was running windows but now its running Yosemite 10.10.3 with Spakk's 1010.3 kernel found in AMD Yosemite Kernel Release Page 2. Specs: My build: AMD FX 6300 Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard 8GB Ram 1 Ballistix 4 GB 1600 MHZ DDR3 and 2 x 2GB 1066 Ghz other DDR3 Ram ZOGIS GeForce GTS450 Video Card XFX ATI Radeon 5850 Device ID 6899 It started artifacting in both os x and windows so I ordered a GTX 750 Ti for $125 CAD and I'll update this for neccasary steps taken to get it too work right now I'm using my backup GTS 450. OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite with Spakk's 1010.3 And a lot of patience Oh and these boot flags " -x GraphicsEnabler=Yes kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x3000" (Just set it up I am going to remove the need of -x -x Not needed on OOB installation ). Drivers/Kexts VoodooHDA for Audio (haven't tested audio yet), RTL81111 network kext and generic USB 3.0 kext Usability status unknown: PS2 USB 3.0 HDMI (Onboard and on video card) SPDI/F Audio. What works: Network with Mieze's RTL 8111 Kext, can't test qe/ci cause I'm in safe mode Full QE/CI How to: Install Yosemite as usual but open the log by pressing cmd + L (or windows key + L if your using a non os x keyboard). Once the installation has finished (It probably says installation failed, ignore that) then open terminal and type this; "mkdir /Volumes/NameOfTheHDYouInstalledYosemiteOn/System/Library/Kernels" (without the quotes) and press enter. Then type; cp /System/Library/Kernels/kernel /Volumes/NameOfTheHDYouInstalledYosemiteOn/System/Library/Kernels and reboot and use the same boot args but boot from the drive you installed yosemite on. Notes. I used Chameleon bootloader for this, I will try clover and update this if necessary. I created the drive manually, as in I didn't use something like pandora or u n i b e a s t or createinstallmedia, I used the disk utility method. Bios setting are default unless stated; virtual machine mode ---> Disabled Enabled after installation Sata Mode ----------------> AHCI Edited November 15, 2015 by XtremeHacker
