It installed just fine on my side. But after reboot, indeed it says last booted version 4871.

I'll build again, this time by deleting and rebuilding the entire work environment, rather than just upgrading from the previous version.

I'll let you know when done.
Installing is fine, but last modified date/time of CloverX64.efi is not change. It should be change according time when i install it right now

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. I'm rebuilding it as we speak. Also, I removed the attachment from the original post, since it seems there was something wrong with it.

Then it's the reason Pacifist.app can't extract your pkg :D

It's gotta be. :) So...I guess we might need to wait for a fix then. :D

Sorry. I really wanted to help. I didn't expect the build to fail, especially since there is nothing different in the way I'm building Clover. And I didn't have any issues building older versions. So I think there might be something different in the sources, maybe a bug introduced by the latest changes...? I don't know. I guess we'll have to wait and see. :)

Can anyone please provide binaries for latest working clover. I get stuck at random seed +++++++++++++++++ when booting.

I can access EFI from windows to replace files.

Stuck at random seed can be caused by Mixed AudioDxe-64.efi from Clover with BootChimeDxe.efi from GoldFish64.

You shouldn't mixed both files

I don’t use a mix.
All I did was update clover with build_clover.command and reboot.
So all I need is the clover binaries.

Hi Slice! Well, this is interesting.:D Did you build it in Mojave with Xcode 10?

Any idea what could cause those errors I've mentioned before? I'm working on a clean environment, and I'm using this command to build:

./ebuild.sh --ext-co -fr

I tried going back a few revisions (always removing and redownloading the sources) and tried to compile each one of them. I've got the exact same errors up until 4870. And at 4869 I get the infamous error 65 we've had before, and it doesn't create the build. So...I'm not sure what could cause this issue. Also, I'm curious if you're also building in Mojave, or if you're still on High Sierra. Cause that might make a difference.

I built in 10.13.6 with Xcode10.1.

But I think your issue is "--ext-co"

You are 100% correct. It's not the OS, nor it is the Xcode version (since we're both using the exact same version). It was indeed compiling external drivers. Not sure what happened there. But  "--ext-co" doesn't seem to work anymore.

Anyway, simple fix: switched to "--ext-pre" instead. :)

Done. Thank you! :)

Hi @arsradu

"--ext-co" works fine on my system: Mojave 10.14.3/ Xcode 10.1.

@Andres ZeroCross, I don't use clobber for now. Where I can find it, please.

But but...you said you couldn't build either. With the exact same error I've got.... Did you remove and redownload the build environment between the two tries? I find it really weird that you don't get that error anymore.

Also, here's clobber.

I never had the same error you've got. And I don't remove or recreate the build src folder. Only one issue, this morning before a commit from AptiofixPKG;

Thanks for clobber

You're right. I totally missed what you said earlier about commits on AptioFixPkg. Sorry, I'm slow today. :))

Yeah, so, after this commit. it looks like compiling external drivers has been fixed, so we can use --ext-co again, without causing any issues. Still, I think I'm gonna stick with --ext-pre for a while. :D

So I have a question. If you install back AudioDxe.efi from Clover package and not BootChimeXXX will you have a problem with recovery?

Plugin-type produces the difference what method for speedstep will be used. By Apple...kext or by xcpm in kernel.

I will not reproduce your result because I have no iStat and no wish to acquire it. I am using HWMonitorSMC2 by Vector_Sigma and I know it shows the same result as IPG.

Clover implementation of sound does not work for me. If I install AudioDxe.efi from Clover install package and place sound.wav in theme folder, I get no sound at all. I can select sound source in Clover GUI and I hear a guitar so I know it works, but when I boot I hear no sound.

And I still get red screen of death if I try to boot into any other drive.

Have you configured the sound output device and volume?
