I can not put a FakeSMC in Other because = no Boot 10.7/10.6

Yeah I know. I placed mine there to test.

In r4235 and r4236 I'd get stuck on ACPICPU stall too, because then the kexts in either 10.13 or Other wouldn't be injected but that seems to be fixed for me in r4237

Clover kext folders on FAT32 USB shown below, booting 10.7.5, 10.12.6 or 10.13 release.

Only kexts in /Other and /10.12 are visible in Kext Inject Management Submenu. When select to boot into 10.13, Kext Inject Management only shows kexts in /Other, none in 10.13...

If I still remember; I got it to works under 10.13 using r4223 with:

1. Kozlek's FakeSMC v6.26.1440 and Rehabman's ACPIBatteryManager v1.81.3 / or 1.81.4 (with patched DSDT for battery)

2. Slice's FakeSMC v3.5 and VoodooBattery.kext (w/o patched DSDT for battery)

"BUT.." for point 1; it just works for a moment after I disassembled my mach. It then disappeared again after I rebooted my mach, IDK why.

Point. 2, it shows the indicator but since my battery device was failed; it spamming me with "Battery 0 empty capacity.. (or similar message)" on verbose logs, and it makes my boot time became longer. Sorry, I should to gave report earlier but on that time; I got trouble accessing the forum. My bad, now I only has 10.13.1 Beta and not testing point 2 yet, but just with point 1 it doesn't work here. Thanks.

Now that I think about it maybe it started happening when I updated fakesmc to 3.5. I'll try older and report back.

I had made a USB install of OS X 10.13 High Sierra. Installed latest cloverv2.4k_r4233. and added below to clover/kexts/other

-78938-NullCPUPowerManagement-1.0.0d2.kext

-FakeSMC v6.21-311-g2958f55.1723

-IntelMausiEthernet-v2.2.0

Also added the apfs.efi to drivers64UEFI

I replaced the config with the one provided on fist page (as instructed).

I have attached my EFI and screen sot of the error during boot "IOUSBHostdevice:: forcepowergated: kpowerstatesuspended"

My Machine pecs:

Cpu Intel 6700k

Asus Z170i Gaming Pro

Samsung NVMe 960 evo M.2 SSD

Intel 530 onboard graphics

Anything I need to add or take away from the EFI? DSDT, SSDT, Config.plist? If someone with similar motherboard setup can help I would really appreciate it.

r4237 works for me.

I understand the reason.

The list InjectKextList must be inited before enter menu. Else only first folder will be scanned.

Slice, Thank you for this incredible boot loader. We now have a few AMD CPU test kernels and because of Clover they're up and running quickly. We have AMD Ryzen working in High Sierra, thanks to all of you in the clover community for including us CPU misfits. You have helped many to step up to modern graphics cards and CPUS on AMD systems.

I saw my nvram plist was outdated so I renamed it. it does not seem like the RC scripts are generating a new one. is there an issue with APFS and the scripts?

Honestly, for my mach with dualboot macOS'es 10.11 & 10.13 by using "Other" folder only for kext injection is enough, since the kexts contents on both folders are exactly same versions... (except, EAPDCodecCommander & BTFirmwareUploader kext that on my case are not working yet under 10.13) << but the last two are not mandatory for me. So, here I'm just glad to test for new clover revisions and hopefully, get more learning from them. Thanks.

I guess the issue only exists if you have multiple macOS versions installed. I only have 10.13.1

EDIT: I'll test and see what happens if I plug my 10.12.6 SSD in. I'll also install SL/Yosemite on a seperate HDD to test.

I guess the issue only exists if you have multiple macOS versions installed. I only have 10.13.1

EDIT: I'll test and see what happens if I plug my 10.12.6 SSD in. I'll also install SL/Yosemite on a seperate HDD to test.

On legacy EFI with clover installed to ESP.

Now 10.13.1 boots with only 10.13 in Clover/Kexts/10.13.

Others folder not needed as was happening with earlier clover versions.

Tripple booting from one disk and macOS installed on APFS volume on a HDD.

Well, since r4235 afaik "Other" folder is working fine for kext_inject; not only for FakeSMC but also another kexts ie. Lilu, AppleALC, ApplePS2 are loadable to boot High Sierra. The problem till r4238 is if they were placed on 10.13. Correct?

No.

"10.xy" folder will work only for first main menu entry.

"Other" folder always works.
