Just spent a long while trying to get this to work upgrading from my El Capitan system; I have my Kexts in 10.12 (including the modded fakesmc) and the newest version of clover, but I still get the white screen with a spinning beach ball. Everyone's getting their systems to work but I feel like I'm missing something here...

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I try to build VoodooPS2 with xcode 8 BETA, the kext load but the plugins don't (Mouse, Trackpad, Keyboard), I get "the following symbol declared more that once".

But on Sierra, I can't get access to boot log, I try the app Console.app and I try to read /var/log/system.log.

The log is weird.

Can someone can help me, please ?

Thanks.

For me I do a vanilla Sierra USB installation.

Use clover r3561.pkg UEFI, and FakeSMC.kext was already on 10.12 folder.

It boot fine.

Mee to, easy.

@florentino974 Hmm I tried 3566 and it didn't work, but I don't have 3561. I doubt an older one would be better..?

3566 does not exist .. last is 3561

@Mickey1979 I have no idea what's wrong; it still is stuck on Findmyiphone or whatever during boot up then goes to a white screen a while later

@Mickey1979 Lol I somehow read 3556 as 3566... I wasn't on the latest version XD

I don't see a download install link for the new one tho, I can see the code on sourceforge but how do I update it manually?

Which kext get your kernel panic ? Did you try to delete it ?

It says AppleTyMCEDriver, but I already did delete it. I can boot to the OS using the flash drive just fine, but when I go to boot installation I get that panic.

Edit: Running Mac Pro 5,1 with a Gigabyte board and a 2600k.

Instead of trying to install fresh with the USB drive, I also decided to try installing the update normally and going to OS X Install on Macintosh HDD in Clover.

Here's the failure that gives me:

Info: macOS Sierra beta 1 no support for processors without SSE4 instructions:

Bad news for everyone who still uses 65-nm intel cpu based on conroe arch (for example MP1,1/2,1).

SSE4 is being used now in system application and these cpus a missing it.

For example, trying to run macOS 10.12 on MP1,1/MP2,1 will give a panic because launchd process (init process, if it dies – kernel in panic) dies with signal 4 (illegal instruction).

Your only hope is when 10.12 released and sources code for kernel becomes available, if somebody will implement sse4,1 emulator (similar to sse3 emulation in the past)

http://netkas.org/?p=1448

https://applelife.ru/threads/ustanovka-macos-sierra-10-12-na-intel-pc.1367064/page-12

Translator Google :

no support for processors without SSE4 instructions.

(All Conroe at least)

None of poppies has allowed processors without these instructions, so that before they find a patch (which is doubtful, since the substitution CPUID and forced KernelCPUSupport Clover does not work) or even before the opening of the kernel source to run 10.12 will not work.

-----------------

It was different with previous OS X. My CPU - Intel Celeron DualCore E1400 2GHz worked without problem - without any additional modifications. This my processor does not support SSE4, so goes perhaps to the fact that through it I could not good run the installer macOS Sierra and I had a quick restarts the computer. I seek more many times different combinations, but it comes out that this was a problem. Maybe in future it can be used a patch for this problem with SSE4.

My PC hardware: Celeron DualCore E1400 | Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L | Audio ALC888 | LAN RTL8111 | GeForce 9400GT

@cecekpawon zeroing 8A19D411 is required for most of codec , when piker update his script will definitely work for all

I need no one to make it work.. :P just look at the binary you will see that some hackintosh patterns ar gone

I guess that you need to boot w/o chache.

With createinstallmedia is not possible, but there are a lot of solutions, one of it is to change the SMBIOS, or also that in KernelAndKextPatches:

<dict>
    <key>Name</key>
    <string>AppleTyMCEDriver</string>
    <key>Find</key>
    <data>cgoATWFjUHJvNCwxAE1hY1BybzUsMQBY</data>
    <key>Replace</key>
    <data>cgoAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABY</data>
</dict>

i put the kext in the 10.12 folder and it didn't kp but my keyboard and trackpad still don't work

No a bootloader problem.

I hope so brother, will recheck tomorrow. From the last its still labeled "nightly". He adopt some of my fork but not the multi pattern patches which it most important features for me since the script is able to do that things.. I currently use it right now btw, thanks

I tried booting without cache, and the error message is exactly the same :(

Hi Sherlock,  /System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel is in use since 10.10, but apple decide to "hack" the OS (their words looking in kextcache.c) and initially both paths were available for compatibility.

But i think that in Clover this is decided by boot.efi (ie reading the com.apple.Boot.plist). I guess

Okay. I saw clover read kernelcache file bootflag -v after enter osx hd in 10.6~10.11. But i didnt see clover read kernelcache in sierra. i wonder this case. So i search this read functions in clover. Im not sure that.
