Dear friends, forgive me for the post in an inappropriate place.

Firstly, I want to thank you and Antonio and everyone else for everything you have done for Clover, as I am moved to see so much evolution and dedication.

And Hackintosh for me is life, a hobby, in short. I love dealing with all of this.

Yes @LAbyOne , thanks a lot @Antonuccio too my dear brother, you both understood correctly my friends, that I was able to boot the previous version, but not this last one, using exactly these drivers.

Works with Desktop but not for Laptop (that boot with 5156)

I'll post it on the correct forum, forgive my clumsiness.

Hello dear friends, I would like to report here that the work with Clover is excellent, and I am using the beta 14.4 b2 on the Desktop and on my Lenovo Laptop successfully using Clover 5156 and 5157 combined with the LabyOne program.
However, I also bring here that with regard to Clover 5157, this version only went up on the Desktop, because with the Laptop I did what was within my knowledge, with the help of the coders but I was not successful in making the boot go up on the macOs Sonoma.

The versions of Clover and Sonoma that successfully climbed were:

Clover r5156 or r5157 (compiled with @LAbyOne perfect tools)  successfully.
Desktop Raptor Lake 13th intel i9-13900k, Aorus Master Elite AX (Ax211 intel wireless + BRCM Bluetooth).

Clover r5156 only, on Lenovo E470 Thinkpad i5-7200-U Kaby Lake UHD 620 Synaptic trackpad + Fn Keys Patch. Everything working.

Congratulations to everyone, have a good weekend.

Thanks my dear @Allan sorry this issues for you! So glad to talk to you my friend.

Hi @LAbyOne

Editing: I get it Battery Manager and boot up Clover r5156 with only FakeSMC and old and excellent Kext from RehabMan repository.

Now will test r5157 and cross my fingers !!

😆

Thanks!! I'll report here soon.

Hi @LAbyOne  and all guys!

Thank you very much for the essential and very important tips regarding FakeSMC.kext, which I used formalized (compiled) with Clover Build. I didn't have success with the new Clover r5157 in relation to the Laptop, but I'm still relearning, as it's been many years without knowing how the bootloader was evolving. I wanted to take the opportunity and ask if in general Clover needs any more UEFI drivers than the ones I'm already using. Thank you very much, and I will report any news here. God blesses!

Since it doesn't seem still clear the reason why Clover would not boot anymore your laptop

I would suggest to make your testing starting with the bare minimum into your EFI

I'm not familiar really with laptops

I saw this also and maybe you don't really need them all... to boot

ScreenShot.png.593c3683bfdea9cf54c1c2ce3a99b195.png

also into config

ScreenShot1.png.deac50639276c0c80d2b3a8ff5dd8adb.png

those entries are OC related and have no effect on Clover (as far as I know)

so cleaning up some stuff (kexts included) could be a good start

Hello my dear @LAbyOne

Hello my friend, firstly I want to thank you for all your kindness in taking your time, as I know it must be very busy.

I removed these settings a while ago, and actually the laptop is a little more difficult to deal with. I made a plist "from scratch" so to speak.

I really needed these small hotpatches with Opencore, because they are affected by the Brazilian keyboard and the power and sleep operation. In addition to the Fn keys working with ThinkPad Assist.

I want to thank you for the very useful tools you created. Forgive me for not fully understanding the functionality of all the drivers and settings for Clover. I read everything I could and I'm still poring over it. But I don't worry too much, because I know I have the Desktop, which is simply spectacular.

I never imagined how revolutionary and advanced Clover would be. I'll try to test with fewer kexts and less information. What makes it most difficult for us, less advanced users, is the lack of documentation for translation, for example.

I will do my best here, and mainly I want, from now on, to only use Clover, Opencore will be on a remote plane. Please continue. And if any of you have the English format of Clover that can be translated with some tool, it would be a lot of help for average users or beginners.

Congratulations on all your efforts, and if you are the creator of CorpNewT's content, we just have to thank you, as you have certainly revolutionized the Hack World.

If you happen to know any explanatory documentation for Clover in relation to the drivers and kexts that are necessary and those that are not, please, my friend, help us by informing us.

Your intelligence, and that of many (not to say all) Coders here, Slice, Chris1111, Maldon, Allan,  the creators of Clover and the friends you help a lot like Miliuco, CyberDevs, Antonio, Lorys89,  and many others, are our daily Hack bread.

I'm still fighting here with Lenovo, and I'll do my best. I would just like to finish by saying that with the r5156 it goes up perfectly, the boot takes a reasonable 30 seconds, the SD card, sleep, Fn keys, battery, shutdown works, and with the Framebuffers configuration, 4k, HDMI, audio, in short, it's perfect , but since I don't understand the changes that occurred (for example, maybe in config.plist) or drivers, I keep trying to look for where to read. I tried installing Clover pkg and changing the drivers, updating the plist, validating the plist, but without success with r5157.

I thank you so much brother, and I ask that when you can, you provide us with guides on how to use it on a laptop or what not to use on laptops. But all of this is out of pure emotion and hobby.

The work even in the Legal area, where I work as an Officer in the Government Legal Department of our country, is very good with Java digital signature tools.

Thank you for everything brother.

Hugs to everyone!!!

As stated on page CorpNewT Utilities is just a downloader I made to share some of CorpNewT work to those who might not know about it, and same as you I also think he's done a tremendous job, so I cannot take no credit for it.

Only Laptop related documentation I ever saw, was in dortania Guides. but now outdated and of course, OC releated..

Btw,

5T33Z0 made a pretty exhaustive documentation

it was already present into CBS in "Online Sources" section... (but most of the links have been updated)

So you can check there for the time being,

I will post an updated CBS release, very soon, just need the time to make sure all changes made work as expected

Thanks so much @LAbyOne Thank you very much for all the information, and I continue to admire everyone who contributes, and I also know the translation work of user 5T33Z0 and I have been reading it calmly for a few days, and it certainly always helps a lot. Thank you again, you all together are a spectacular team.

Good Sunday everyone!!
