Don't fix. Exactly same issue : macOS Install don't appear in Clover GUI. When I press F3, I see  macOS Install  via Preboot instead of my main partition. So I can't update Mojave.

Arg, not sure. I've added some log CloverX64-2021-02-02-19-54-19-fa0bdcd-dirty-jief.zip

Seems to work here, but config are always a bit different.

Could you try ?

Always don't work.
I can't install the security update for Mojave and Safari 14.0.3 on my Ivybridge config. macos Install does not appear in the Clover GUI.

Hi @Jief_Machak

Problem fix with your efi file CloverX64-2021-02-02-19-54-19-fa0bdcd-dirty-jief. Thanks. :thumbsup_anim:

After erasing macOS data, I launch again Mojave Software Update. The process is correct this time.

Why all BS volume and Preboot is Hiden now? I can see BS volume with lates commit, only Recovery is visible

I don't have any Hide volume on config.plist and I not need custom entry before the commits

F3 make windows hidden visible not BS Preboot

@iCanaro

@ellaosx : I tried and my HS preboot doesn't show. Could you send me your preboot.log or debug.log ?

Hi @Jief_Machak

Log & Pics attached.

preboot.log shows that i have com.apple.installer\boot.efi in FF8FD963-C79F-32B2-A6FC-DF0F0B3CD90D. I mounted my preboot volume and that is where com.apple.installer\boot.efi resides.

If the solution is to delete that, do i have to? I mean, HS installer put it there by default.

Thank You :)

The things I don't understand on my Other SSD Big Sur the boot is from Volume DATA and is only boot from OpenCore, this entry is not show from Clover ?:frantics:

See on right screen shot there is only one entry and its Recovery HD , if I boot from OpenCore I have other entry Volume Data

Things are going in circle because we are not going step by step.

What's efficient to help solve a bug :

- use the efi I've sent. If you're using BootLoaderChooser, just unzip in your Clover folder. Launch my efi, generate preboot.log if you're Boot/Debug is false in your config.plist.

- send me preboot.log or debug.log. The name of the log file has evolved. It should be the date followed by the name of the efi file.

- if you can : DO NOT TRY TO WORKAROUND. If my efi doesn't work as expected. I need you to keep the same configuration so we can try again.

What's that target of this modification I'd like you to test ? It's to auto-hide any redundant partition without the need to use "Hide" in config.plist. For any macOs before BS, you can boot via Preboot or directly. In this case Preboot partition must be hidden. For BS, main partition booting is removed. Only Preboot is kept.
