hello.
In UEFI it is first run from BOOTX64.efi.

To boot from other efi, there is CLOVERX64.efi too.

Copy CLOVERX64.efi to the BOOT folder and rename it BOOTX64.efi.

Actually, these two are the same contents of Cloverx64.efi, so we just use the Clover name for clarity.

Good luck!

it turned out to boot, but the download takes longer than in other systems. Hangs on the black screen for 20 seconds, then goes to the desktop. There is no such thing with OrenCore

Hello
It's very nice to have booted Ventura.

Everyone thank you for testing the 11th CPU.

I think there are two reasons why it takes time.

1. Are you run CLOVER in a medium that is slow to read and write, such as a USB memory stick?

2. Set Boot-> Debug to false. If the writing media is slow, it will take a lot of time.

Please check the above.

Thank you.

the disk I have is an nvme SSD. debugging is disabled. OpenСore loads in 14 seconds. Clover is twice as long. Monterey both loaders load equally fast

Hello
At what stage of boot is it taking a long time?

I'm not good at English, so please tell me.

First, is it possible to switch to Verbose mode?
To do so, just add -v to Bootaug.

1. Time to load the Clover itself.

2. The time until the Ventura launch selection icon appears.

3. The time it takes to stop in the middle of the macOS boot log after the boot icon is pressed. (If so, take a picture)

4. The time when the Apple mark appears and the progress bar appears. (Before the login screen.)

If 3 and 4 are the problem, and
If I were, make sure all Kexts are development versions.

And if there are no other noticeable problems, do this.
I run it once in debug mode.
I copy Clover's EFI.
Delete the serial-number sm-uuid on config.plist.
I'll compress it and put it here.

Everyone here is kind. Maybe they will look for something. (I do too)

Good luck.

@Slice @Jief_Machak thank you again

I didn't know that you had to rename CLOVERX64 to BOOTX64 to put it in the BOOT folder. I only replaced the one in the Clover folder... shame on me. now with 0xFFF and this commit is working fine. Thanks again.

I removed FSinject from my EFI folder and unchecked in the plist: inject kext by the way.

so Z170 Smbios iMacPro 1,1 is all good

I recorded a video of the whole process, I think it will be clearer this way. I also attached the EFI folder on Google drive

Thanks, Both versions of Clover-5146-2c28c23fd & 5147-5f44b37c8 can boot Ventura to desktop at Ventura, but Clover-5146-2dxx failed in my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh.

Well, I suggest not to duplicate the clover efi file and use my BootLoaderChooser as bootx64.efi.

That way, you know exactly which clover efi file will start.

the more obvious, the less mistake…

Hello

I haven't touched anyone else's Hackintosh, so I don't know.

I've posted the entire boot video of my environment.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eOzL6DQcIzr6AkK1CLjJYMnl_-xx2wJb/view?usp=sharing

I'd like to ask, could you post videos other than Ventura (Monterey, etc.) on your current Clover?

thank you.

(In my boot environment, it is currently divided into test and stable.)

I need an internal wifi card and a USB to ethernet adapter. Anyone knows what to buy so it'll be compatible with macos (from high sierra) ? Or any forum where I can ask ?

Thanks.

"USB to ethernet adapter"

As I see nobody use it and no hackintosh driver developed. I was using such a device some years ago and it worked as is. Probably I bought a new device with own drivers with description "macOS compatible".

But usually people use USB-WIFI adapters which has MAC drivers (Realtek, Ralink-Mediatech).

hello.
I trust you

That's why I gave all the information to everyone.

I'm sorry I'm not good at English.

Do you say that the login screen will appear about 14 seconds after you press the boot menu button don't you?

I don't know about that, so when I asked, you sent the video properly.
This method is very easy to understand.
And everyone expects you to be a good way to communicate your symptoms.
Also, for you, the method is just as easy.

I know what you are saying.
Please please really ask you.
Add a faster OS boot video such as Monterey to Google Drive with Clover in the same environment.

thank you.
