Sorry for the delayed response. HWTarget j160 is wrong. Should be J160AP afaik.

Thanks for pointing that out @Slice!

Is the value J160AP correct for iMac19,1 System definition as well?

Could you (or anyone who knows it) please confirm?

Thanks in advance :)

I use Imac19,1 SMBIOS (Z390 config Coffee Lake-R) without any HWTarget. Because It's not a T2 Apple Mac. On the other hand, I use it J185AP for Imac20,1

Ok. It looks like AvoidRuntimeDefrag is fixed in 0.8.2. So we have to wait for the release, right ?

Hi @Jief_Machak OC devs has published 0.8.1, only 11 days ago. Nobody knows when they upload 0.8.2 release version with fix for AvoidRuntimeDefrag ! before or after the release of Ventura Beta 2 🤭

Update the OC package with release 0.8.2 would be better to avoid doing the job twice. Who knows.

Agree. Furthermore, using an outdated version of Clover as a workaround is not the right way IMHO.

Please use OC 0.8.2 (714fc69)posted here which worked in Ventura with AvoidRuntimeDefrag enabled.

We are waiting for Clover with its OpenRuntime.efi !

Tried that days ago. Doesn't work. Seems that you can't just replace OpenRuntime.efi with the one from the OpenCore pkg

I was talking about compiling a new build of Clover that integrates OpenRuntime.efi from latest OC commit. I already reported that just replacing OpenRuntime.efi does not work.

I wonder who removed all the precompiled binaries from the repo. They were definitely there previously since I stopped using the .pkg installer in 2020 when the switch to OpenRuntime was made. Almost all the precompiled versions from 5123 to 5144 arre missing. What a mess.

With the same „first Monday of the month“ schedule as the past 2,5 years (minus holidays)?

The AvoidRuntimeDefrag fix should be stable now, all „broken“ reports since the import were false. You can just cherry-pick that.

Ok, I've integrate the current version of OC. I can't test with Ventura. I can't test AvoidRuntimeDefrag either. Please try.

OpenRuntime has changed since a while. You need the version 12. OC doesn't like to make the version clear for users, but I can post the version 12 here if needed.

There was 2 commits I wasn't completely sure. One is about SetApfsTrimTimeout, and the other is about patching cpu info for AMD. Let me know.

@Download-Fritz Hey, you're back. Still want to challenge me on my programming skills ?
