arsradu
Has the update checker from the Clover Pref pane stopped working for anyone else (Tested 3320-3322)? Hi, Dan For as far as I know, the updater doesn't look for unofficial releases. Latest official release is 3320. So it can't pop-up for an update to 3322 since that one hasn't been released (yet). D-an-W
Thanks arsradu, I thought it also said there was no update when you manually check and are up to date (Or using a newer version) or did I make that up as mine doesn't do a thing atm? arsradu
Thanks arsradu, I thought it also said there was no update when you manually check and are up to date (Or using a newer version) or did I make that up as mine doesn't do a thing atm? You're right. If you're already up to date (or have a newer version installed already), it won't prompt you to update either. Only if you're on an older version and there is a newer, official version available, will it pop-up to update. At least that was my experience with the updater so far. Of course, more often than not, I'm using newer versions, since i'm compiling them myself, so I'm more than "up to date". But yeah, I think the behavior you're describing is intended for this case. Cheers!

Qeeet
Good day there, When I click on run Shell after Clover is booted, screen goes black with cursor at the top-left corner (NOT blinking) and nothing works at all, only reset helps. Therefore I cannot run bootx64.efi. Could anyone tell me how to fix it? I couldn't find anything about it on the internet.

arsradu
So, if I got this right, the CloverUpdater.xcodeproj needs to be fixed, right? By the way, can we use relative paths for this case? Anyway, I got my updater app fixed, as well, thanks to tluck.

arsradu
Any screenshots on what to edit arsradu as I tried and made things worse Go to your /edk/Clover/CloverPackage/CloverUpdater/build and remove everything inside. After that, double click the CloverUpdater.xcodeproj file from the CloverUpdater directory. By default, it will be opened in Xcode. Now, once there, you need to edit a few things in: Info, Build Settings and down below, in makefile. Screenshots below. Info Build Settings Makefile Save changes! Once done, try to make clean and rebuild. If this time you're successful, beside no errors, you should also have something like this in your /build folder.

draylax
I have to Interrupt because for some reason the forums won't let me create a new topic. I'd like to know where is Clover up to in development? What can it do and what is planned? Questions, 1) Can Clover now at this point be configured to boot directly to an OS set in a Start Up Disk Control Panel rathert than painfully forcing the system to run into Clover, force user to select OS and then boot? This wastes too much time if a user uses 1 OS 90% of the time and occasionally boots to another OS. 2) Does Clover finally provide the same hold down 'Option' key to select boot OS like Apples Boot Picker? Is this ever going to be possible or something the Clover team will eventually provide the functionality? Really just want to use OSX on standard PC hardware but have the flexibility to boot between OS's as easily as a Mac. thanks

If you set the Timeout to zero and specify a default volume, I think Clover will boot a disk by default, but give you a short window where you can press a different key to boot a different disk (please correct me if I'm wrong). As for setting the boot volume, setting Startup Disk in System Preferences (in OS X) should work fine provided your NVRAM is working.
