Ramalama
my Mb have Via VT 2020 so toleda scripts wont work and no this method dont chanhe anything from apple hda this just required to have a working apple hda to get the configuration from there i think quite similar to toleda scripts although i am not sure as i have never used toleda's scripts.... :( my dummyhda is already in S/L/E and loaded but my apple hda is not loaded dont know why :( how you guys rebuild kernel cache in EL-Cap??I used kext utility to build kernel cache from 10.6 but in El cap Kext utility adds some useless flag in Nvram I forgot, you need to repatch for 10.11... the old dummy doesn't work anymore... Some audio codecs need an extra patch for El Capitan in order to zero out newly-added codecs that conflict. So if your dummy HDA and Clover patch worked in Yosemite but not anymore check your codec and see what extra patch(es) you need. exactly... @Feradis: first: The easiest method, there are now 4 clover patches for applehda, not 3 anymore like for yosemite... This 3 you can use like they are means ( AppleHDA ALC282 1/2/4 ) Now you see there is AppleHDA ALC282 3 3D8202EC10 = 3D 0282 10EC = Realtec ALC282 You can change that to your codec... dunno which you have... as example: 3D41040611 = 3D 0441 1106 VIA VT2020/VT2021 I hope you got it... If this doesn't help, you can ask mirone http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298663-applehda-for-yosemite/ or patch yourself for capitan... Cheers :-) Dummy hda & config plist.zip added config file config.plist.zip Test this config... & Reboot twice... Cheers :-)

Micky1979
I didnt Read what you wrote before, sry And you have right, nothing... Cheers:-) I see you add an extra '3d' as prefix, just curious to know why. Without it these patches are reported working since Snow Leopard (probably even before), so no problem about matching "occurrences count" found until now. I am concerned that this may in the future do not work (or not work in all versions of OSX .. even older), only this.

insanelyDeepak
Hello Everyone , 1.you can add Pinconfiguration in FakeSMC (EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS) 2.pathmaps and layout files replace it with AppleHDA or use Terminal Install method , 3.BinPatch is using clover patch on fly (you know it ) just rebuild caches using touch S/L/E , and required to use flags before attemping <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>BooterConfig</key> <string>0x28</string> <key>CsrActiveConfig</key> <string>0x3</string> this is way im using my Audio Update proof (no worries about software updates ) ,Every Codec is supported just use Patched AppleHDA and make it work on fly PS: for working Audio in El-Cap this is also required to be in KextsToPatch config.plist additionally you have also to zeroed out the 8319d411 codec... liujianwei
I just install OS X 10.11 (15A284) and Clover_v2.3k_r3320,found some problems. Installer get the white screen without spinner was due to FakeSMC wasn't loading properly,I must copy FakeSMC.kext /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other,delete all folder in /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/ except other. There is no problem when I put FakeSMC to 10.9.5 (13F34) when I install 10.9.5. When I install 10.9.5 (13F34) with Clover_v2.3k_r3320,I need two stage to install complete. The first stage the last second need 5 minutes to finish, the second stage doesn't have this problem,is this normal? I must set SMBIOS to MacPro3.1,or I will get prohibit sign when use installer. When I select installer language to Chinese, installer take more than 5 minutes on the last second to restart. When I set CPU FSB to 400x8,boot from Clover,I get glitch on playing music. When I set CPU FSB to 360x9,boot from Clover, everything work well.Chameleon doesn't have this problem. XanthraX
Hi everyone. I hope I am in the right topic. I got DiskWarrior 5 and made the DiskWarrior Recovery Disk on an USB drive. OK, I have Clover_2.3k_r3320. When I try to boot from the recovery drive, it boots but I get the message: "The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged". Well it is a recovery drive, i don't know why Clover thinks it is an installation disk. If I added the real OSInstall.mpkg in the path, the installer starts. I need to have the Recovery interface with DiskWarrior included. It was possible in the earlier versions of Clover with Yosemite. If I am wrong, where I am wrong? I can boot the Recovery partition made by El Capitan installation on the system drive. Thank you in advance.
polyzargone
@XanthraX I have the same exact problem and I think Clover is the culprit . I tried the same DiskWarrior Recovery USB Disk with Chameleon and I don't have this issue. Also, using the same disk again on a real MacBook Air (booting the disk, not the EFI partition where's Clover is installed) and it works too. The only way I found to bypass this issue is to build/use an OS X install disk, go to Utilities Menu, select Terminal and type this to launch DiskWarrior directly : /Applications/Utilities/DiskWarrior.app/Contents/MacOS/DiskWarrior Seems to be a bit "dirty hack" to me but it's the only way I found to use DiskWarrior Recovery with Clover as the main bootloader…
Micky1979
Simply (if you using Patched AppleHDA ) copy HDA Hardware Config Resource from Info.plist and paste in FakeSmc info.plist , navigate to AppleHDA.kext/PlugIns/AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext/Contents/Info.plist see screenshot : Hi Deepack, basically is an injector that match AppleHDA... that should work in any kext , also if you write it inside GenericUSBXHCI.kext

Ramalama
Hi Deepack, basically is an injector that match AppleHDA... that should work in any kext , also if you write it inside GenericUSBXHCI.kext Exactly xD I thinked there is new method pin configuration in fakesmc, lol :-) Nothing new^^ @Deepack Why did you put it inside Fakesmc?^^ At the end you have custom dummyhda with patchmaps/layouts + Custom Fakesmc with HDA Config Ressource... dosn't make any sense in my eyes... if you gonna update Fakesmc, you need always copy that part^^ Cheers :-) Back to Topic:-)

insanelyDeepak
Hi Deepak, basically is an injector that match AppleHDA... that should work in any kext , also if you write it inside GenericUSBXHCI.kext Yes you are right . @Deepak Why did you put it inside Fakesmc?^^ At the end you have custom dummyhda with patchmaps/layouts + Custom Fakesmc with HDA Config Ressource... dosn't make any sense in my eyes... if you gonna update Fakesmc, you need always copy that part^^ FakeMSC is best you can use it as a injector , but custom kext are system specific like GenericUSBXHCI.kext or etc. im using Slice Branch FakeSMC (not getting recent updates like Kozlek ) . why you use S/L/E and L/E for DummyHDA , this way no new kext added you caches , DummyHDA can be replaced by OS Updates but pathmaps/layouts not , this good way i never re-install kext , just install pathmaps/layout file using Terminal install command and my audio works without restarts PS: This is my way i shared , depend upon you choose which is Good ( for you )
