ADHDMedia
Okay Slice... last question from me for the night, I promise  Back to the CPU frequency flag you told me about the other day, I have mine set to 4500 in config.plist, and it shows up as 4.5GHz everywhere in both of my installs, EXCEPT in the Abut This Mac window in Yosemite.  It shows 4.3 GHz:   Here is the way I have it set, just to show you: <key>CPU</key> <dict> <key>FrequencyMHz</key> <string>4500</string> </dict> You know of any reason why it would show up improperly on here?
FrDakota
Slice, I know that we can compile Clover with ONLY_SATA_0 option to speed up the boot sequence.  But is it possible for you to add an option to config.plist, to allow those who have slow startup of Clover in legacy mode to be able to start faster ? No, it is not possible because the option works before config.plist reading. Chameleon is very fast for me, always has been. When I set the timeout to zero it boots pretty much instantly as soon as my BIOS posts. FrDakota
For me also it doesn't work.  I'm using CloverGrowerPro.  In terminal I get this : running ./ebuild.sh -gcc47 -release --only-sata0 --x64  Then build -D ONLY_SATA_0 -p Clover/Clover.dsc -a X64 -b RELEASE -t GCC47 -n 9  The CloverX64.efi is 649 824 bytes long, but after update I still have a booting time ~14s. FrDakota
Did you solve the issue? What file? Â Sorry I made a mistake for boot0af error you'll have to write the boot1h to the partition of the OS. Â The boot1 error is the one I think that is related to a missing BOOT file.

alexanderq
If u wanna fast clover then forget about legacy becouse u have UEFI capable board! It is because Slice has 5 sec to gui you and others have a uefi board and that is why no one see no problem in clover boot times in lagacy where are more users and some of them still they turn back to chameleon.
