DId you use this log?

And check what is the format of your /Volume/EFI, and how many space on it.

Yes, same content as /var/log/install.log

And yes, /Volume/EFI is empty and FAT. Always diskXs1. Currently I have booted from disk1 and trying to install on FusionVolume, consisting of disk0 and disk2.
Listing all disks below, but only disk0 and disk2 are relevant.

hi guys does anyone know more about this error [iOBluetoothHCIController][ SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! i simply can not find a solution to boot maverick… install was fine to 100%.. i use clover 2184 with the same config and kext files with which i boot Mountain lion 10.8.5..  but if i boot my usb stick maverick hangs with this error.. very strang.. i test really a lot but nothing works :/

anyone fix this problem?

clover question enable C3Latency config.plist

CPU-> Latency -> String -> 0x03E9 is that the right way to enable C3Latency? or CPU-> Latency -> Number -> 0 ?

thx for help

@Lustral -

i might assume you have laptop with Broadcom? i had similar issues and had to patch Info.plist to explicitly add my ProductID into Info.plist

i replaced 8532 with 8575 and works great. Note: to install the 10.8.5 update, i disabled BT in the BIOS and then renabled it after i made the fix.

run sudo touch /Sysytem/Library/Extensions to refresh the cache (after you patch Info.plist)

BroadcomBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport.kext - adds ProductID 8575 to make BT work! Put/replace one in /S/L/E/IOBluetoothFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns

see my post for a full package for the Lenovo T420 with a kext bundle             #397

Sorry, I have zero experience with FusionDrive

Sorry but the preboot.log is good. There is nothing about your problem.

Did you use NullCPUPM? Patched kernel? Or Clover's ability to patch kernel on the fly?

I Use nullCPUPM cause I'm on X79 system...  patched kernel = no , ability patch kernel on the fly = No

 Still get that message  :(

i am having a problem getting dual boot (ML/WinXP) to work.

i am using legacy booting, as my mono does not support UEFI.

at the clover screen, i see both the ML and Windows icon.  ML boots fine, but when i click on the Windows icon, i get a black/white version of the windows flag logo and the boot does not proceed.

any ideas?

thanks

One of the possible reason is drivers64UEFI. Check if you have OsxAptioFix (I think you do UEFI boot?) and not have OsxLowMemFix.

Check other drivers.

It is known problem that legacy boot works only in 80% cases. As you are unhappy in the rest 20% you may:

1. Use alternative booting boot1 to choose Clover/Chameleon

2. Install Legacy systems on a separate drive and choose booting from BIOS menu.

3. Do not use legacy systems. There are Windows UEFI and Linux UEFI.

IMHO 3rd way is the best.

One minute. This is what I miss. You say that the system started, you see messages from kernel and then kernel panic, right?

It is quite another story.

I traced our dialog down to this message and what I see?

how to load kext on folder kext/10.8 ?  "WithKexts seems not working"

on chameleon "UseKernelCache=No" what about clover ?

thanks

To load kext you have to press "SPACE" and choose "with kexts".

But I see no about kernel panic or about your real problem. I can't understand what is your problem and what is the wrong message scare you.

Ah, that's easy. Before you start OS X Installer, run these two commands in terminal (you'll need two disks):

diskutil cs create FusionVG driveX driveY

memorize lvgUUID

diskutil cs createVolume lvgUUID jhfs+ FusionLV 100%

Then install OS X on FusionLV

But where I can find and fix that ./preinstall  script anyway?

Yes, related. But for me all is fine here.

Clover checks your CPU and custom settings and proposes some values for SMC keys REV, RBr and others. This values can be used by FakeSMC v3 with HWInfo, or by kozlek's FakeSMC.

Screen Shot 2013-10-06 at 15.01.34.png

But if SMC key REV is defined in FakeSMC.info.plist it will have a priority on Clover's value. May be this is a bug of your used FakeSMC.

hi guys
How do you set the HD2500 graphics with Clover, because I work well with Chameleon, but I can not in UEFI mode with Clover .. I can not find where to enter parameters strings with PlistEdit
Thanks in advance

I dont know what to think about Clover.

I've managed to get it to boot 10.8-10.9DP and my Windows 8 install properly, but I simply dont get it to boot the Mavericks GM installer. But I have no idea why. I used fakesmc, ncpm injected those at boot. No good result. I've been trying to get this to work for hours.

Seriously, why is it so difficult to boot that installer? It just hangs there doing nothing, sometimes giving me a beachball.

What I want is use an installer partition on one of my internal disks to be able to reinstall at will. My USB 2.0 stick is just too slow.

I'm going back to Chameleon for the installer, never had any such issues with it.

It works fine here, I assume you used \10.9 for your kexts?

How did you create the installer?

First of, I tried simply using the installer from withing MacOSX rebooting and going to "Install Mac OSX from Mac OSX. Same result. Hanging in boot without any kind of error message.

I tried once with using "BaseSystem.dmg & Packages" applied to partition. Than with the InstallESD applied to partition. The second time it wouldnt even present the booting option.

I put fakesmc.kext and ncpm in Clover/kexts/Others, and used "space" kextinjection. I'll try 10.9, but I guess it wont make much of a difference.

I tried both with my 7950 and the HD4000 as primary display. Both boot fine in 10.9 DP7. No difference.

Clover is already installed to one of my disks EFI partitions and works just fine from there. (UEFI mode)

You mean this one?

Clover/CloverPackage/package/Scripts.templates/EFIFolder/preinstall

Yes. A bit confused now. I found full package installation log in /var/log/install.log, but line below from log confuses me because there is no "cd" command in preinstall script.

Oct  6 19:23:48 mackrap.local installd[3793]: ./preinstall: /tmp/PKInstallSandbox.TNZkQy/Scripts/org.clover.target.esp.iDkzO1/preinstall: line 16: cd: /Volumes/FusionVolume/EFIROOTDIR: No such file or directory

Hi.  I've been using Clover for several months with no problems until just recently.  None of the recent updates work for me.  The last version to work properly is rev. 2165.  I've tried 2184 and 2211 and neither work.  What happens is that it loads to the GUI, then starts the boot process but as soon as it displays the system uuid and before its starts loading any drivers, it restarts.  Here's my installation settings:

What changed in the newer versions and how can I get them to run on my HP Envy 17t-3200 CTO (i5-3210M, HM76 chipset, HD4000)?
