I see you use serial number ended with ...DHJQ. It is a number for iMac12,2

If you want MacBookPro9,2 then you need ...DTY3. About 10,2 I don't know.

Also you need DropMCFG=Yes

 

About your DSDT... it contains mistakes. Why not using Clover's auto patch? It really corrected sleep/wake problem.

Hi, Slice. I`ve been busy since our last conversation. I just read your reply. What does DropMCFG=yes do? In the ACPI section I only set below. And the REV19x I tried disables sleep and power-off function with my setup. Strange I just tried your latest build and power-off seems working I tried twice. Have not tried sleep and wake with your latest build yet. You said clover auto sleep and wake patch, can you help me with my DSDT? Can you shed some light on my DSDT fixing? What specific part to correct to enable sleep and wake? Thanks dude.

Feature request:

 

The ability to boot the Linux kernel directly and not have to deal with GRUB.

 

Slice, I am serious, Clover isn't just some boot loader, it is the best boot loader.

clover should already be capable of this, it's mostly just Linux needing to be configured correctly. There's some great information on efistubs in the Arch Linux wiki. If you're talking about being able to set boot parameters and such, obviously you still would need grub, so that would be a cool feature.

Sorry, 200 revisions passed.

For MacBookPro model you probably need to do Drop MCFG table. In recent revision it is doing other way.

I can help with DSDT and I did this for all.

Anybody needed help with DSDT may use Clover's auto patch feature. Read WIKI.

Hi

when I try display dsdt patch with clover I get stuck in clover boot screen

it's seems to be because the adr of mt PEGP is 0x00030000

any fix for this?

Check, please, revision 2133 with many corrections for DSDT patch.

Yes, will apply. It avoided double patch nonetheless it would be good for you to test instead of empty asking.

slice maybe I speak chinese or not I can express my ideas, I noticed that the boot.log clover applies its patch, although I have a dsdt patched, because it does .?.. I also tried to put DSDT fixmask 0x0000 ( dmazar told me long ago that if I already had a DSDT with the patch, I had to use in the config plist fixmask 0x0000)

 

Now unterstand , or I have to devote to gardening....if you want to step log

To create boot.log you have to set in config.plist

	<key>Boot</key>
	<dict>
		<key>Log</key>
		<true/>
		<key>Fast</key>
		<false/>
	</dict>

It looks like the boot loader hang during DSDT patch.

Hi

thank you for your help

attached my untouched dsdt and log from clover

unfortunately, i'm only getting log upon successful booting

so this log is with various dsdt patches but without display.

I understand what is wrong. Wait, please, for new revision to do patch display. Or do this manually. 

Anyway thanks for the bug.

 

I now have another issue

my lan card (pci-express marvell yukon which work oob) doesn't work with rev 2133

it works fine with 2114

 

here are the logs (it doesn't need any kind of patching)

With 2114 there was automatic injection properties with DSDT patch.

With 2133 it will be if you set FakeID.

Or exclude bit FIX_LAN from FixDsdt = 0x2000. It will be string injection for the cards that work OOB.

To fix the Memory Slot Utility popup delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.PCIE.plist.

 

Clover displays the memory slots in a different order than Chameleon. You can see this if you go to the Memory section in System Profiler.

 

the Memory Slot Utility popup gone but the Memory Slot order wrong... but it's ok.

 

one thing really anoying this popup every restart

I'm using Clover_v2k_r2133.. as far i remember, there's not popup like that in previous versions.. [maybe :)]

Hmm, is there any way to force Clover to not patch or modify the DSDT so it can be patched via MaciASL? 0x0000 and not dropping tables seems to still result in a modified DSDT since around the rev 20xx changes.
