Slice
Slice, this Spanish forum user has this problem with Clover, with Chameleon works well, can you help??, what difference could there be?, thanksHi there, If it is UEFI boot then there are many hidden problems. Check if you can boot by CloverEFI (like Chameleon it means legacy boot) and see that in this case Clover works better then Chameleon. peerobo
You need to post more specs. See my signature for what kind of information we need. my Specs: - CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9650 - RAM: 4 GB DDR2 - Mainboard: MSI P45T ( chipset intel P45 ) - VGA: 256 MB 7600 GS - PS/2 Keyboard - USB Mouse - OS iATKOS s3 v2 (Snow Leopard 10.6.3) - PCI card wireless Atheros AR5007 If it is UEFI boot then there are many hidden problems. Check if you can boot by CloverEFI (like Chameleon it means legacy boot) and see that in this case Clover works better then Chameleon. I don't think Clover may influence on mouse in OSX. Problems in my first Hackintosh are: - Cannot change VGA Resolution (default is 1024x768). I guess OS cannot regconize vga card so it is in basic mode. My LCD native res is 1680x1050 - No Wireless - Mouse and Keyboard works fine And i try Clover. After install system cannot boot. I found out i have to copy FakeSMC (from prev Chameleon Extra\Extensions) into kexts\10.6 then boot with "Boot Mac OS X with extra kexts". And: - Can change resolutions - Keyboard not work - Mouse can function but no icon displayed - not test wireless yet because using invisble mouse is very hard So what do i do now to show up mouse ??? Moutaz
OK, What I have done to boot iAtkos S3v2, but failed to launch installer: It is obvious that the DVD is dead Created a BootDiskUtility boot flash Used Transmac to restore the ISO to another flash Booted the laptop (HR 6710b) using the first flash, and inserted the second while Clover was loading Chose to boot iAtkos S3v2 The system loads, but displays a gray background with a curser, the cursor moves when a USB mouse is installed. End of story How can I get the installer to begin? Thanks ...
