You might be right, I have some disks connected to a Marvell 88SE9172

Later today, I'll see if I have time to check the boot process with the Marvel controller disabled

I'm trying to get TRIM working with KextsToPatch

Note Debug=Yes above - it's just for testing (although this testing is not complete yet). You can set it to No when you are done.

 

Data inside <data> is binary and is base64 encoded in plist. Plist editor decodes it and shows real binary data.

Sorry, completely clover nubie need help.

 

I have 2 drive in my lapie.

 

ssd-mbr

Partition

- hfs+ osx 10.7.2

- ntfs windows 7

 

HDD caddy drive-GUID

-hfs+ no data

-hfs+ osx 10.8.0

-hfs+ backup

-fat32 no data

-fat32 backup

 

1. I'm Install clover v2-rL828 via Lion onto ML, make there's option to boot Clover OS X on bios but fail to start ML

2. Install again clover v2-rL828 via Lion to lion, make fail to boot there's message 2 line boot test

boot:0

boot:0

then not nothing happen.

 

Now I'm boot via USB Chimera bootloader, to write this.

 

What should I do now???

Just disabled the Marvel controller and this is the result:

Now it boots to Clover GUI very fast! No more 3 minute delay

 

ps. Now, I only have that annoying 10 sec. delay when booting OSX, see video paused on 00:37

I'm not able to get both speedstep and sleep work at the same time. :wallbash:

 

If you want sleep works, just change SMBios to iMac12,2 and apply the attached DSDT. But you'll lose speedstep. (For me also overlocking...)

You can still tried the my new DSDT and plist without losing speedstep.

 

I'll ask Gigabyte to remove internal graphic stuff in P67's UEFI. Hope they'll listen to me...

(Deceiving them I'm using Linux, not OS X.... :dev: XD)

What do you want to do? Remove Clover and have your Chameleon back? On which disk?

 

I need refresh from Chameleon

and I want to my Clover works all disk... what in problem I'm right now

 

please, help me (now I try to mod my config.plist)

How did you get those work? Which CloverDSDTFixMask do you use :blink:?

Ups, I bricked my hackbook, after edit config.plist

fail boot to ssd and automatic go to hdd, boot hdd shown like this and cannot boot 142hum0.jpg

Ps: But you have error on Osx Aptio driver ...strange..muhmmm ( this is a ssd hd? )

I'm trying to get TRIM working with KextsToPatch but it does not work with OS 10.8.2. Here is what my /EFI/config.plist looks like:

I'm editing with xCode the actual data entered was find <4150504c 45205353 44> and replace <00000000 00000000 00>. What am I doing wrong? I know there was some changes made with 10.8.1 regarding TRIM support, do we need to change anything with our Clover configurations regarding the change?

 

Another thing, why when viewing the plist as text, and with xcode the data find/replace different?

Could you show me your config.plist? :)

Do you use the plist for speedstep? What SMBios do you use?

 

With 0XBCB7, it's able to wake sometime, but sometime not ,and sometime reboot after it wakes... :wallbash:

 

I found out that it will restart when I open DSDTSE after it wakes...

My guess that it is because of kext injection. You may try to install kexts to /S/L/E and not keep them in Clover's /efi/kexts/...

Although, I do not get this error even when using Clover's kext injection.

 

And here is the version of the driver that will silently fix that error without pausing. You may use that.

But I think I had removed the 2 kexts I had on the last video I've made, and I still got that error

 

 

ps. I just wish you could get some way of skipping Marvel controller searches to avoid that 3 minute delay. That way, I could use 2 HDD´s I have connected to that controller. I can only boot clover fine and fast by disabling the Marvel controller
