theconnactic
SL is a very mature OS whether in terms of stability or optimizations I think Apple should take the time with an OS, refine it to its maximum Agreed. given the endless number of betas, before presenting 10.9 If all that betas translates to a more stable and polished system, it really doesn't bother me. Hope, for the sake of all AMD 7xxx users, this will end up in a reliable support for them. Best regards!

Rampage Dev
I think we will see 10.8.4 and .5 to end it with a few supplemental updates in-between.

eep357
Tough choice, but I think first cat would fit best on the icon for "Install OSX 10.9 Snowy Mountain Cat.app" download from appstore.
atlee
lol with 12D74 my big external usb 3.0 drive does not mount(even intiating it doesn't do anything). plugging it into 2.0 usb port still doesn't. blody these updates are shocking lately. and again this update causes spinning circles. definetly not stable enough for production yet. maybe i should of just waited for final too many builds, too many annoying bugs.

JCsHands
My NVIDIA GT610 broke with the latest 10.8.3 12D74 update. I had been running the Official NVIDIA drivers on 10.8.2 just fine, but after updating I couldn't find a way to get them to work again, I reinstalled back to 10.8.2 and everything is great again. On the upside I noticed that 10.8.3 correctly identifies my controllers, so there must be better support for the Intel B75 Chipset. haxzion
10.8.3 12D74 here and everything looks good so far.Sleep-wake up, benchmarks look fine and i have noticed that they fixed the slow restart-shut down issue. k3nny
I don't get you all. Shouldn't it be a good sign that Apple releases the betas this often? This shows that they actually make good progress with the development - or at least they try to do something . No one forces you to install the newest build if your system runs stable. This shows that they actually make good progress with the development - or at least they try to do something . No one forces you to install the newest build if your system runs stable. This means also they're taking 10.8.3 as a major release, and perhaps they're trying to perfectly tune all up because 10.8.3 will mark some new hardware release as well. Perhaps the Mac Pro, but maybe - and that's a big maybe here - refreshed iMacs and MacBookPros and MacBookAirs with the newest AMD graphics solutions Best regards! P.S.: and k3nny, i think people are showing impatience here because they're all also anxious to use the said newest AMD graphics solutions with full (and official) Apple support. theconnactic
I was wondering, and it would be really great if someone could test it with the betas (i don't have an ATI card), but perhaps 10.8.3 will add also Crossover support. Is it feasible?

mitch_de
No probs here with D76, C2D, 9600 GT, P35 Chipset That's a different issue. Anyway, I just hope they implement some AMD video driver enhancements soon. Nvidia + AMD Drivers (included OpenGL framework + OpenCL) got updated - as every dev build. Other things very minimal new content compared to D74.
Badeendje
All went well with it D76/i7 2600/6870 Performance wise I don't really notice much difference, powering off is a bit faster now and system.log returns no more random errors related to powermanagement for me. Sleep still works and my selfmade airport card with the ar9280 picks up networks faster and automatically after sleep now. For me this is the most stable build so far as I can find nothing wrong at all anymore, so it seems apple really has been ironing out all these subtile issues still present in ML for once. My dayroutine should reveal if any issues are left not immediately visible by quick testing.
