bmas
Hi all, My hacky cant boot after I add new RAM. My hacky is with DSDT. Here is the problem: I had 2x1GB RAM Kit, but I replace 1 stick of 1GB RAM with 2GB RAM and now the configuration is 1x1GB plus 1x2GB RAM all 3. So the hacky boot with no problem with 2x1GB RAM, but freeze on PCI CONFIGURATION BEGIN when it is with 1x1GB and 1x2GB RAM. What can be the problem? CursedHax
Have you tried entering npci=0x3000 at the boot prompt?
bmas
Yup I`m now with npci=0x3000, I tried also with npci=0x2000 but it`s the same situation. Its dificult to understand why the hacky boot with 2x1GB RAM and don`t want to boot with 1x1GB and 1x2GB.. May be something in DSDT, how do you think? This up, is my DSDT made by Maldon before 2-3 years. I dont understand so much from DSDT, but if somebody can help to see, is there something wrong in my DSDT with RAM rows

p.H
I resolve the problem, with recompilation of DSDT congrats. BTW, any changes to hardware require a new dsdt
bmas
Yup, it`s good to learn something new. Recompilation is very easy. For example I just extract my DSDT form Aida64, then pach and compile it in DSDT Editor and patcher, with .txt pach from madlon`s closed autopatcher for my MOBO.
