Derek12
OSX ML thinks for some unknown reason (I have correct DSTD) that I have four RAM slots, 3 empty, but my motherboard has only two. If over time I add another RAM stick, wanted dual channel, could this cause problems, would to reinstall again or is it some aestetic nuisance? Thanks

Derek12
Many thanks. I have that of macpro3,1, and, besides it detects my CPU as a 2.39 GHz Core i7 when I have a Celeron G530 (obviously as there aren't Celeron based Macs). What model of Macmini should I use? a macmini which use Sandy Bridge CPUs?

Derek12
Many thanks, cool app! Mac Mini (Mid 2011) is the closest one but there are some issue (I am noob regarding SMBios): There are two identifiers Macmini5,1 (2.3 GHz) Macmini5,2 (2.5 or 2.7 GHz) but my CPU is 2.4 Ghz, what should I choose? Also, in video card: there are two: Intel HD 3000 or AMD Radeon 6630M, but I have a Nvidia Geforce GT520, could this cause problems? Also, in SMSerial, SMbiosversion, and SMboardproduct, what should I use? or leaving them as is?
HUSABER
for me dont need to use Macmini, use model for your motherboard find the same processor and video, and create smbios from him. if you use Macmini5,1 (2.3 GHz) no problem for video for my smbios i use Macbook air4.1,but video is HD 3000(My is x3100)and no problems for now

Derek12
Many thanks to both. I've tried imac12,1 and Macmini5,1, but it still detects those two phantom RAM slots. Should I assume a second stick would work fine?

p.H
Many thanks to both. I've tried imac12,1 and Macmini5,1, but it still detects those two phantom RAM slots. Should I assume a second stick would work fine? Maybe using a real mac model which has two slots will solve the problem
