For expand video memory You have install 8 gb RAM

RTC patch not function, with GenericUSBXHCI creates the semi brick.

 

 

Penso proprio che dipendi dalla cache che non lega piu correttamente l'hardware e kext al kernel.

O provi a cancellare la cache con Mountain Lion cache cleaner e la ricrei . O se non risolvi, reinstalli tutto magari passando da ML 10.8 direttamente a 10.8.3

Ciao ragazzi, finalmente ho risolto il problema delle USB 3.0

Funzionavano a tutti tranne che a me...

Mi sono accorto che era un problema di cache (con tutti i kext che ho provato in tutti questi ultimi mesi...) e ho deciso di reinstallare tutto.

Ho eseguito l'installazione usando Pandora, niente male direi, mi sono trovato benissimo, e con il mio SSD si avvia in un attimo...

comunque anche a me ha cominciato a funzionare magicamente lo sleep anche con l'usb3 attivo. Ho fatto caso che la prima volta che ha funzionato è stato quando, per esperimento, ho mandato in sleep manualmente il notebook con una pendrive (usb3) inserita in una porta usb3: premendo poi invio sulla tastiera il pc è uscito dallo sleep perfettamente!

 

Adesso funziona sempre, sia che lo sleep sia automatico che manuale, e senza pendrive inserita ovviamente!

 

Provate anche voi, perchè se in questo modo la situazione "si sblocca", provvediamo a comunicarlo allo sviluppatore per risolvere il bug

i try to help you.

 

I don't have a modded bios because i don't want to deal with semibrick, but my bios supports entering advanced mode and i can turn off ati card.

To check if your bios supports it too, when notebook starts and in the left down corner there is "press ESC to enter startup menu", don't press ESC, press A + F10, more times if necessary and you probably will enter advanced bios with more features!

 

Then navigate to Advanced -> Video Configuration -> Special Features -> Disabled to turn off ATI card!!

 

Then, i have triple boot on my machine: Windows 7, Ubuntu 12.04 and ML 10.8.3

 

I have one SSD, where is installed Win7, and an Hard Disk, where there is a partition for Ubuntu (you have to install grub directly to its partition, and not to main harddrive address!) and another one for ML (iAtkos version that supports install in MBR partition). I use chameleon (enoch) bootloader and it will boot everyone without issues!

 

This is my setup, but i think you could to also with one single hard drive (or ssd) without any problems! (2 primary partition for Win7 (system + windows), 1 primary for ML, 1 logical for Ubuntu).

 

Only one thing: install windows before installing ML, either windows will overwrite chameleon booting! Ubuntu installation doesn't make issues because you install grub to its own partition as i said!

this is a know bug!

 

After some times, to me and other users sleep works magically...but we don't know why!

ciao a tutti.... dopo un po di smarrimento sono riuscito a reinstallare tutto e ad aggiornare alla 10.8.3 ora funziona tutto..... l'unica cosa che non va è il fatto che di tanto in tanto senza nessuna relazione con ciò che sto facendo mi fa un kp con la schermata in cui mi dice che devo spegnere il mac.... come faccio a capire cosa lo provoca e a risolvere?

 

ho provato a guardare i log con l'utility console ma nn trovo nulla tipo kernel panic....

Ciao Thecekker, come ha detto Macerick se usi il kext USB 3.0 generic USBXHCI è un problema diffuso, chi ha patchato il kext spero che trovi una soluzione... Vedremo!!!
