Banduri1984
Yes it works great. The AW CE 123H give me now 30Mbits more speed. I took the shrink tubing once to fix the connector and once to insulate from the electrical system. After 4 weeks of installing everything is still fine. MasterDesaster
Every sixt boot my Display is craching with psychedelic piciture. Is there anybody who has a similarly problem? Same problem on UX32VD. The problem introduced with an update of HD4000 drivers/kext a few OS X version releases ago (maybe 2 years ago!?). Maybe there is a new fix... ? Workarround: Standby. After standby the problem does not show up.

I tried these binary patches (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292542-airport-pcie-half-mini/) on AirPortBrcm4360 with US, DE and XX. jsl
Anyone tried Sierra yet? I think I'm going to give it a go this weekend.. With proper DSDT.aml and Chameleon Enoch 2839, macos Sierra 10.12. beta 4 worked in my Asus ZenBook UX31A. The only unsolved problem is HDMI audio. Anyone got its HDMI audio working in 10.9.x~10.11.x ? Please share working DSDT.aml and related Kexts to us.

pavn
Ok. I successfully seamlessly updated from El Capitan to macOS Sierra without any issue during the installation process! Siri works! In place video works! What does not work for me is: FaceTime, iMessage, Universal Clipboard - Copy/Paste. (FaceTime and iMessage did not work for me in El Capitan also. Do you know how to get it work?)

I successfully seamlessly updated from El Capitan to macOS Sierra without any issue during the installation process! @Pavn: Is it possible that you share your current configurations EFI/kexts? Thanks! EDIT: There is a current GitHub repo with all settings for an UX32VD hackintosh: https://github.com/mobilizer/Asus-UX32VD-Hackintosh Feel free to push changes, improvements. pavn
Thanks for letting know. How it is progressing? I am especially interested in USB3 to get it work. Rom1
UX31A High Sierra Success. Here is a a short summary, starting with what is not working: SD Card Reader. Speed step is working: (U31a mutex high sierra guide) HDA Sound is working: (U31a mutex high sierra guide) USB3/USB2 ports are all working: (Thanks to RehabMan's help. See my post) Sleep is working. LID is working. Backlight is working (EMlyDinEsH + Fn F2-F6) ALS is working (EMlyDinEsH) Battery display is working but the value in the menu bar does not refresh itself. I have to select it. [Edit: I installed battery monitor which also displays the time remaining] Concerning DSDT+ Clover patching, I tried the hot patch approach recommended by ReHabMan starting with a fresh DSDT extract combined with very little patching work. Most of the work is done with Clover. I also tried with my previously posted DSDT14, which includes an extensive patching work, adding a couple of patches (XHC1 + USB3 sleep). While results are similar, I am currently using the Clover / hot patch approach. Results have never been better. Stability and performance are achieved, credit due to the great work of authors of the different guides.
pavn
Probably after the update I am getting this. I should be still on Sierra. If I did not click somewhere mistakenly. Any advice, please?
Rom1
@pavn : I also get the last two lines, not finding the GPU device. I looked at the the rest of your screenshot. Again. I have the same information and boot continues fine. You may try to disable EHCI[Edit: XHCI] in Bios and to unable USB2 Legacy only. You may try to use the clover files I posted & copy the 10.13 kexts to the 10.12 Clover directory for Sierra instead of High Sierra.
pavn
Here is a screenshot to System\Library\Extensions of latest updated/added kexts after update. Could some of it cause a booting issue? See the attached screenshot. After some time it displays a message: "Still waiting for root device". PS: How to "disable EHCI and to unable USB2 Legacy only"? I will try your clover files you posted and copy kexts to 10.12 as you suggested. @pavn : I also get the last two lines, not finding the GPU device. I looked at the the rest of your screenshot. pavn
@Rom1, I tried to use your Clover folder in EFI partition. Only renamed 13.1 extensions folder to 12.6. And added HFS EFI partition driver. The Sierra still did not load. Here is a screenshot.
Rom1
@pavn 1. My first recommendation would be to install High Sierra directly with a USB stick. In my case, I did not install Sierra. I tried to boot high Sierra with a USB stick and it worked right away. I therefore installed High Sierra directly. 2. To disable USB3 : F2 to get to Bios. Then set XHCI to disabled and USB2 Legacy to Enabled. Before using SSDT-UIAC-UX31A.aml (in Clover Acpi Patched) I was not able to get USB3 working. For example, when XHCI was set to auto or enabled, boot would be stuck at USBLegacyRoot0 You may try that at least to boot all the way. 3. AsusNBFnKeys.kext You may remove this kext from Clover kext Other. You may also remove IOath3kfrmwr.kext if you don't have a Bluetooth device. A least you may get a better understanding of the problem. 4. FWI: Initial boot sequence I have (extract) I have ACPI sleep states S3 S4 S5 HID, RTC, HID, then FakeSMC v6.21)311 ACPIBatteryManager Then AsusNBFnKeys.kext Then many STD lines (keyboard) WLAN More STD lines HardwareType Ath_get_caps (atheros Wifi Card) --> AppleUSBHostRessorces0 //That's the USB part I had trouble with when enabling USB3 without Rehabman's injection method. nx_kernel_mount --> Got boot device Darwin... Hope it helps.
pavn
Hi Rom1, Thanks for suggestions. I created High Sierra USB installer and I am trying to boot, but it seems to have the same booting issue as 10.12.6 Sierra. I am not able to boot it even with your Clover folder. Or it crahes also. I also tried to remove AsusNBFnKeys.kext from kext directory in Clover. It did not also help to solve booting issue. I have legacy USB support enabled in BIOS. I have Asus Zenbook UX32VDA. pavn
Maybe the booting is realated to this issue. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/fix-window-server-service-only-ran-for-0-seconds-with-dual-gpu.233092/ Since I have both Intel and Nvidia graphics cards in my Zenbook UX32VDA. And I am observing similar message in one of try of booting options.
