Sleep not working anymore after 10.9.2 update - UX31A

Anyone else experience this?  Everything else is working fine.

:(

Haha xD

I have the same on UX301LA :-)

Just relax, and wait till we find out why :-)

What are your current BIOS settings, do you have LaunchCSM disabled and UEFI enabled?

These options only appear if you have a modded BIOS ...

CSM is disabled, and UEFI is enabled :-) + Secure boot is enabled "without keys" and VT-d is disabled :-)

Mind giving these keys a try?

DSDT -> Fixes

Just tried...

Changes nothing, but i think the DSDT Fixes part from clover is only working if i don't use my own DSDT...

So maybe i need to remove first the DSDT from the patched folder and try again.

I compared the both DSDT's from Clover "fixes" part, i readed it out from acpi and compared with my DSDT, what i can say, there are absolutely no changes that clover made with the fixes, that you requested to try...

That maybe means, that clover doesn't modifying already patched DSDT in patched folder.

Im going to try without patched dsdt, just with clover fixes now :-)

Cheers :-)

@68x

I tried to start without DSDT, and i can't... Clover fails to inject the right platform-id... i have in my plist ig-platform-id = 0a2e000a/8

("a" is introduced first in 10.9.2 for Iris 5100 ---/--- i used before "8" (8 is introduced with 0a2e in 10.9.0))

however, both are working good for me... "a" seems to be a bit better...

However, injecting platform id with clover doesn't work... (i tried already to do this like in DSDT = 0a002e0a) but clover seems to have a bug or sth...

However, i can boot without dsdt, with any not existing id, like 08234244, yes, i have with that no graphics drivers loaded :-)

Without graphic drivers i don't need to test sleep..., its senseless, it will not turn off display...

If someday the clover devs are going to fix ig-platform-id injection, i can try this again...

Cheers :-)

==============================

I have Attached an ioreg with Clover Patches and Ioreg with Custom DSDT... And the Config.plist i used for Clover...

Thats exactly like i said, Clover fails to inject ig-platform-id (you can check in ioreg) with my DSDT there is no problem...

You can see how bad clover "auto patching" is for haswell "Laptop" platform...

Cheers :-)

The issue isn't your DSDT and config.plist. Try this, at Clover screen, go to options (icon looks like ">_"), and choose add "UEFI" option. It'll auto add an extra Clover boot option. Try using that and let me know.

I have it already in my UEFI Boot list... (It's working and im using it) :-)

But this isn't helping for sleep :-)

I should have asked you this before hand, do you need OsxAptioFix to boot up?

I was under the assumption *you cannot* without OsxAptio. I highly suggest you try the SLPI keys

To add some to fakesmc?

Will Look in them tomorrow and reply if Key adding helped or not:-)

Thanks 68x :-)
