Hey guys,

I've been browsing all over this forum for almost a whole week now in order to get the gist of osx86 :) Since I've been planning to buy a Laptop for my University-stuff, I thought I might wanna try out to use Mac OSx86 as well. At the moment, my favourite laptop's the Lenovo L530. Before I place the order, I wondered if the hardware is "usable" for OSx 86:

CPU:

Intel Core i3-3110M 2.40 GHz, 3 MB Cache, 35W TDP

RAM:

4 GB PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 / 8GB max.

HDD:

500 GB 2.5" SATA HDD 7.200U/min

Display::

15.6" (39.5cm) HD+ LED (1600x900),

GPU:

Intel HD 4000(Shared)

Devices:

DVD±RW Double Layer

Communication:

10/100/1000 Ethernet

Intel Centrino® Wireless-N 2200 b/g/n

Bluetooth 4.0

UMTS / HSDPA ready

Interfaces:

1 x ExpressCard 34/54

3 x USB 2.0 (1 x powered)

1 x USB 3.0

1 x VGA

1 x Mini-DisplayPort

1 x combo audio/mic jack

1 x Dockingstation

1 x Kensington Lock

1 x 4-in-1 Cardreader (MMC, SD, SDHC, SDXC)

Security:

BM Embedded Security Subsystem

FingerPrint Reader

As far as I'm concerned, CPU, GPU, Ram, HDD and Display should be supported. The Wifi-Card is not as far as I know. Besides that, a little tweaking (how little, I can just guess) should get it running, right?

Hope you guys don't mind me asking.

Greets
