Use the xnu-source for 10.9.5 and create a new amd kernel for new and older CPUs on based with the xnu-source.diff from bronya. Unfortunately I'm on vacation and can not patch the kernel.  :D

in Annex is an amd kernel, based on xnu-source 10.9.5, tested with Phenom II X6 T100
If kernel should not run clean, then use the System.kext from the package or possibly using the data from the frameworks package folder, etc ....
this kernel should work with older and new FX CPUs

thx to Bronya, AnV and sinetek

BSA_10.9.5_rc1

...please check and give feedback if everything works..

Edit:

I hope that soon apple will to publish the xnu-source for yosemite :)

Edit:

because until nobody now has given its opinion, I assume that the kernel is Okay.

Sorry spakk, I've got many exams lately and a lot of "family stuff" so I am sorry for not testing.

Everything works fine here :)

Shutdown works

Restart works

Sleep = not tested yet

AppStore works

iTunes works

Pro Tools works

Logic works

FL Studio works

Great job spakk!! :thumbsup_anim:

Thanks for your feedback tragediana150

can you also test this kernel, this kernel is without OPEMU, therefore, only for FX CPUs and APUs with SSSE3 instructions

I hope that the kernel done his work as desired. I have not tested

I tried. unfortunately did not see any difference with  kernel rc3 from Bronya, ANV and Sinetek. same blurred text on icons. everything else is working.

I have not updated System.kext from the archive.

I tried rc1 and updated System.kext (see image). System not boot.

interesting, it seems you have one of the very first amd64 cpu's .. it can't run windows 8.1 either.

i'm not sure how to add support for it. there are only 2 lines inside the kernel that cause problems, so it might be possible

OPEMU:  lock cmpxchg16b [rdi]

4 times this line and then

MACH reboot

@granik,

@Traace,

try this

but the problem must cause something else. The kernel works---> better doing a clean install and use the kernel.

it works but I have more graphical glitches than before:

I'm using 10.9.5 system kexts, as opposed to 10.9.4 kext in 10.9.5.

those glitches in the desktop names have been there since the last kernel by bronya though. wish we could fix them.

Also I'm not sure if this is kernel related and related to these glitches since the last kernel but I get this sometimes when pressing space to view an image since I upgraded my graphics card. preview does it too and freezes.

I'll try your system.kext next.

EDIT: still glitchy.

I went back to the old kext and kernel and the glitches on Skype are still there :( anyone knows how to fix it or why?

if someone can upload bronya's rc7 kernel I'd appreciate it a lot. link is dead.

Thanks!

It was a clean installl. From 10.9->10.9.5->Your Kernel.

Try'd two times now, this is the first Kernel i've ever had such issue.

This one is faulty as the other, at least for me :) Not working, image not found in IOKit.Framework.

Bootstepper crashing.

(Ignore SuperViaATA(Tresh from Niresh, already removed) & ProbeHPET fail -> (kext is not installed (yet))

Could someone please provide me a working one? May even the stock from 10.9.5 as i have no backups.

Well, i'm not looking for Kernels cause thats not my issue, but i will try

Edit: Tested  with mach_10_9_4_rc3 and rollback kexts. It was working fine before.

Now its not, still broken IOKit.Framework. Some is really messed up with :)

My Bios is fine, please ignore these stings. All working well.
