ADHDMedia
yup new version of Skype works fine Updated to 10.9.1, installed your v4 kernel (hadn't done so yet) and am surprised to find out that all graphic corruption is now gone! No more desktop icon text corruption, dock corruption, or launchpad label corruption. No more pink .pngs anywhere, Safari previews aren't pink anymore, everything is great! Used to have some small corruption issues around some text boxes and buttons as well, those are gone too! EXCELLENT WORK!!! ***Note: The Launchpad icons are now some off color for me as per reports here, but the Launchpad refresh app works fine. Also, the newest version of Final Cut Pro is unusable still (10.0.9)***

dolphincn
latest mach_Kernel v4 is very good. can work with AMD A6-3500. but I still could not run Qt on MAC os x 10.9 on AMD computer with latest march_kernel. who can help to find out what's wrong? you can download Qt Creator 3.0.0 for Mac to test from http://qt-project.org/downloads ,it is only about 60M and need not to install. I hope you get it sorted. On another note I noticed on your git that the latest commit has ACPI Shutdown support :-). Is that in the latest V4 kernel? If not I can download it and build it if needed. Sinetek
Well, the Motherboard is dead. @shanee: please, could i have your DSDT (either binary or disassembled) so i can fix the code? It worked on both my macbook air and Phenom II X4 954 BE with the now-dead mobo you see above. The code needed to shut down a computer isn't trivial a all, so there's that. For reference if anyone wants to have a look, in the file iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp around line 250 ^^

It worked on both my macbook air and Phenom II X4 954 BE with the now-dead mobo you see above. You could be lucky and it may just be a blown capacitor and it hasn't damaged anything. Could always solder on a new one. Sure here is my DSDT. I don't use one so this probably full of errors, Extracted with DarwinDumper DSDT.aml.zip @tragediana150 Can you test this please. mach_kernel.zip
Sinetek
No, it appears the power circuitry has just blown. It looks like the "Auxiliary power" connector is shorted. As soon as i plug this in, the power supply refuses to start, presumably due to a short. It really wouldn't surprise me, this mobo was amazing at a lot of things, but its power section really sucked, from what i read online. @shane nothing unusual in the DSDT, if you could send me your FACT table i'll have a look at that

tragediana150
Strange as it works for me on my Athlon. I also have EvOReboot to sort reboot issues on my board. Only thing I did was repaired the permissions on the kernel with Disk Utility and recreated the kernel cache. Still doesn't work I installed EvoReboot.kext with KextHelper, then Repair permissions in DiskUtility and restart. I will try to recreate kernel cache manually by the terminal: sudo kextcache -v 1 -a i386 -a x86_64 -m /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext /System/Library/Extensions" And I will report back. Am I doing something wrong? EDIT: Unfortunately it's not work for me I tried every possible way Thanks Shane Edited December 19, 2013 by tragediana150

Will read up some more on it but think Sinetek, Bronya or Andy will need to fix it.
