that TSC clocking stuff is such a hack.. I whine and complain about it, there's gota be a better way to implement that stuff on AMD lol

I can only imagine, my TSC sync is ALWAYS out, manually set busratio or any kernel. Only thing that works is VoodooTSCSync... What a drag.

any fixes for new iMove / FCP ?

The best way is to test kernels and report back, devs are doing their best..

Kernel works for me and looks like clock is synced with my Macbook for a few hours now but i still get graphic garbledness in iMovie and Messages. but definitely as stated previous.. snappier :P Thanks Bronya! We all appreciate all the devs hard work here. Thanks a ton. Can't wait till that day comes where I open up these apps and BAM it's gone! I have faith in you all :D Keep up the great work!

wow .

I found problem at panic corecrypto !

In tsc deleted cpu_mhz ...

For panic corecrypto - it is don't correct in trap.c and opemu.c function opemu_ktrap =))) .

Now you can check cache L2 =)))

attachicon.gifmach_10.9_beta_rc4_fix.zip

P.S. I forgot write here .

In tsc i modified multiplier for family 15 (k8) . Please check bus ratio in log =)

Nice Works!!!!

Thanks Bronya :thumbsup_anim:

L2 and L3 Good with -emulateintel!!! :D

Ran launchpad refresh.... launchpad NOT pink... Date and Time opened and time synched... waiting to see if it stays synched properly.

Looks like launchpad refresh affects the Time as well..... this is a clue I think....

Sad report CLOCK still running CRAZY times..... not synchronized at all..........ntpt fixes don't work either

this is on latest kernel   AMD athlon 64 X 2 3800+ ....

tomorrow I will try the beta 13B27 on Sempron to see the impact on pink icons

some of the older realeases of this kernel downloaded about 3 days ago

Installed Mavericks over Niresh 10.8.3 without re-erasing a disk.

Input fields with blue sharps always blink in Safari. I don't use it now.

4 GB RAM

Chrome - scrolling is buggy with hops and slow, not like a breath.

Mozilla Firefox Nightly - flash doesn't play - I mean music files not video.

Downloaded mp4 with resolition about 720 plays in QuickTime Player rather well.

3gp in QuickTime Player plays but controls (e. g. play, stop, fast forward) jump and blink.

Launchpad if pressed causes system hanging since 10.8.3 - I don't even try to click it at all.

Installed some updates - everything is OK.

Броня крут все-равно!

Hmm...when i am using Photoshop for some process its taking him longer than in Windows ( it should be faster ), and when i go to Activity Monitor its showing that PS is using only 3-5% of CPU but it should use 70-90% for this process. . .Probably its problem whit kernel ;(. . .

EDIT: I have now test the same process in PS on iNTEL base PC whit slover cpu and its using 98% of CPU and finishing much much faster whit Intel GPU HD4000. . .

Photoshop CC works fine with the latest kernel!!!!

Can you TRY B&W, to my its crashing on BW, and when i am using some stuff like merge layers its take some time (more than in windows and more than in OS X 10.9 on intel base pc). . .

I wonder if some of these problems are the result of the power saving features in Mavericks.... memory compression, low level clusters, power saving....

Possible, because the performance in general are better on Lion10.7 and ML10.8

I really wonder, gils83  -  Installed Mavericks on an i5 box and it seems slower than ML... on AMD it is slower than my old Snow install... could never get ML running well on AMD... also this computer with AMD is very old....I think that is big factor too....  :)

Tested on AMD FX-6300 4,5 GHz and HD 7770. Everything seems to be fine (except the clock is running a bit too fast). No graphic glitches so far. Cinebench scores:

CPU - 5,83

GPU - 49,70

I have the opposite: ML works fine, the Mavericks did not even run

it is true that the performance is the same malgrès feel slow Maveriks.
ML10.8 seems swift, one thing is certain, is that ML10.8 starts faster than Maveriks.
