Hi !

This kernel_rc3 for FX , but for old cpus - glitches graphics icons . I know how fix , but don't effect . Need wait .

Is working in Vmware, VirtualBox and Parallels Desktop ! 

Diff file in archive include !

Everything working great. My system boots even without replacing System.kext :)

I will install later Mavericks 10.9.2 on another partition and test the rc3 kernel on the fresh OS X partition.

 

 

Edit:

 

No chance to boot with rc3

hi Bronya,

 

I have problem with kernel rc2 and kernel rc3 , if I remove not compatible kext drivers from S/L/E then I get problems with System.kext / plugins / unsupported.kext

can system.kext be the cause?

 

my problem is exactly as on picture 1 ( problem with Memory allocation error )

Yes , kabini works  but it's test with Clover and boot + Apple/firmware in EFI partition (MBR) , I would go further in accordance with the agreement Bronya :)

I managed with chameleon and results are much better on Mavericks , I continued my research, I had not planned KP ??

Tested this and managed to get VMWare 10 to start the installer, though my mouse and keyboard aren't working. I managed to get the mouse to work, but keyboard is still a no go. Will test more thoroughly once I get that to work. The load time to get to the initial installer welcome screen is quite slow, but the welcome screen itself seems is quite fast. Must faster than what I experienced with Niresh's distro.

 

As for VirtualBox, It get's stuck after SMC initialization, right after USBF CheckSleepCapability. No kernel panics or errors. Will post up the video (zip file) anyway and hopefully someone could shed some insight here.

 

Will come back once I got VMWare 10 working perfectly fine with some more results. If anyone knows and can tell me why my keyboard isn't working on VMWare 10, I would much appreciate it ^_^

 

Also another thing I noticed, when you only have a single core (processor) setup in VirtualBox you get the "divide by 0" panic again.

 

Will also post up some screenshots from VMWare 10 boot.

with your statement of the problem: "Memory Allocation Error " in connection with /Extra/modules folder or may not be compatible driver in folder /Extra/Extensions/

I had yesterday removed these two folders and behold, the error does not occur. (test with rc1)

 

but as soon as I use a different kernel, for example rc2 or rc3 without exchanging System.kext,  I get this error message "Memory Allocation Error" ...

I think it somehow is related in connection with System.kext/plugins./unsupported.kext, because this error appears at the end after I have removed all incompatible drivers. funny

What is modified in the patched System.kext? Can the binary be patched with Clover?

by the patching of kernels is created the system.kext, a part of xnu-source ...iokit etc. ..I hope I've described correctly.

I get this with various versions, from 12 to 14 and just went to live with it as it does not affect main video usually. I think it's more kernel related than Flash version related.

Usually it not bother me, but sometimes i need to work with web flash apps and make screenshots. And its not look very well on screens.
