gils83
I don't think that it maybe my Kexts... most of them are for functionality: ALXEthernet -AtherosL1c ether kext AppleATIATA -ATI Sata (this one maybe superfluous) DVD_Apple -AnV's Superdrive kext FakeSMC -fakesmc corecrypto -patched PXHCD -USB 3 SuperVIAATA -ATI Sata Also I have them in S/L/E not in Extra/E but I am attaching none the less: S_L_ExtandExtra.zip Additionally: though I don't get the Pink Launchpad I get Errors on screen capture ( utube.mov 3.39MB 2 downloads) and the icon errors as well as Preview Greenness when saving/copying. m28ew
Actually tragediana you may be somewhat right!! I was doing tests with all of my Kexts (I also had corecrypto -patched) apparently having all of my kexts in S/L/E it fixes Pink Launchpad... you see I do get it but for half a second then they disappear really fast.... but remove all to E/E they remained pink the whole time (10 mins) Thats how it works for me, maybe test it? LOL thanks for the idea after removing some "unused" kext & kextcache, now there's no pink icons on my launchpad & dashboard I don't know if it's really a permanent native solution or just temporary

Andy Vandijck
I'll also work on the PM kext. Bronzovka's method of detecting tsc can be used and adapted for PM...
m28ew
What kexts did you remove? mostly I removed some kexts which (I thought) might not not related to my hardware and I read this thread as my reference http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102 don't get too excited since that might not be the real solution try at your own risk
