JorgeMax
@JorgeMax How did you get your 7750 working with the AMD kernel or do you have artifacts? First download the "FBrotate" that he will make the video card "simulate" go into "sleep" mode when you log in or when the OS X boot / Enter "Mesa" (Desktop), your screen appears "white" and then gets "blue" appears and the desktop running all acceleration and correct resolution! Download here: http://www.osx86.net/view/3766-ati_hd_7xxx_fix_white_screen.html Follow these steps:

It is should work with kernel. you delete all module and try chameleon and my latest kernel ... nope its APU AMD A8 3870k 4x3GHz (curently running at 3.2GHz per core) the picture ive provided its booting with ur kernel ya probyval vse kernel ne odin ne katit
Bronya
I did kernel for 10.8.3 for only FX without opemu without support corecrypto.kext and working on amd . same problems artifacts . same problem program "maxima" , closing in terminal ...
mac_carol
I did kernel for 10.8.3 for only FX without opemu without support corecrypto.kext and working on amd . same problems artifacts . same problem program "maxima" , closing in terminal ... We greatly appreciate all of your hard work & effort to make the kernel working well in the 64-bits AMD env. But please don't push yourself too hard mate We do still have no doubt that someday, with better skills & knowledges, you and the other developers (AnV, Sinetek, and maybe some new ones) will find a perfect solution Sooner or later... so there's no need to rush Anyway, with your latest kernel (10.8.3-rc5_fixed1), I still can run the windows version of the MAXIMA using the VirtualBox
Bronya
Thanks gils83 ! And thanks gils83 for testing videocards on celeron 341 ! It "celeron 341" don't support ssse3 , sse4. But - ati cards working without artifacts and NV card fine working on 10.8.3!!! No kernel does not work on this celeron 341! Only my one kernel working without corecrypto.kext on 10.8.3 ! To all - one question - why artifacts on AMD ? Only driver or kernel ?
Bronya
Hi ! programm "maccpuid" don't understand processor amd - same that driver ati and nv or system mac os x - problems on amd ! Maybe i close project for kernel !!!
bcobco
i was wondering about a bug existing in certain AMD processors, the TLB bug, and how bios or software (linux kernel) fixes it. maybe, a similar implementation can be used to catch and fix those intel unsupported extensions. All AMD quad-core processors utilize a shared L3 cache. In instances where the software uses nested memory pages, this processor will experience a race condition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_10h#TLB_Bug original patch https://www.x86-64.org/pipermail/discuss/2007-December/010260.html http://archive.is/UONXe AMD Family 10h revision B2 processors suffer from an issue in the processor TLB known as erratum 298. Erratum 298 is documented in a forthcoming update to the Revision Guide for AMD Family 10h Processors (PID 41322). The workaround in the Revision Guide document is intended to be applied by BIOS. The BIOS workaround has performance implications which can be avoided by having the OS directly workaround the issue. A Linux 64-bit patch was developed for 2.6.23.8 by AMD's OSRC team and will be posted to this list by Joerg Roedel. The patch is for demonstration purposes and is NOT being recommended to be applied upstream. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2012/03/06/coder-finds-amd-chip-bug/ i tried to read that source code (also the opemu.c that i found in google) but , что вне меня Edited July 12, 2013 by bcobco
Bronya
tlb ? omg . in kernel not inserted "tlb cache" for amd...
Bronya
hey hey !!! un nouveau départ ?? a new beginning? I found that in kernel no inserted "tlb cache" - it is for work hardware... But i no sure =))) in system 10.8.2 drivers ati radeon deleted cachelinesize . but is that in news drivers i don't know
Bronya
it's weird though, the same TLB is used for Intel and AMD, which is linked to the CPU virtualization, it is true that the protocol has changed since 2008, 3xxx+ A64 does not work on the same protocol, curious? I can do a test, I have a 3200+ in kernel no used "tab cache" for amd ! only for intel .
Bronya
ah! ok! it's complicated implementation? it will be necessary to try) but i have no time
spakk
Atlon / Sempron. The new and not least! the problem lies in the Frameworks opengl / cl x86_64, using a kernel 12.3 x86_64 Bronya (Dimitrik) compiled for the celeron CPU and running on all versions 10.8 ML (dp1/dp2/dp3/dp4/v1 / v2/v3) v4 and v5 beta, I do not know, works on ML dp2 x86_64 / Nvidia! : thumbsup_anim: at first we thought the core of i386/x86_64 sinedp1 Sinetek using the i386 drivers to activate the nvidia still existing on ML dp2 graphics cards, and not at all! : hysterical :: hysterical: 12.3 x86_64 kernel Bronya works perfectly with 64 bit drivers nvidia! : thumbsup_anim: there are still some minor bugs found on the HD 4xxx and some weird reactions, rotation works and CI / QE, this kernel should work on Phenom (Spakk) I have not tested, but works on Atlon / Sempron. some pictures http://www.partage-facile.com/6ZE378DOBY/gt_610_x86_64_amd.zip.html @ Gils, at the moment my computer is broken so I can not make test, sorry
