Tested. I got exactly one line further: now it freezes at the Fintek probe, just below Kernel is LP64.

 

But no more kernel panics or error reports. AFAIK, the ssse3 emulator for 64-bit is ready. The problem is caused by something else. Perhaps i was wrong - and with me, all the literature about it to date - and the thing that blocks AMD CPUs from running 64-bit XNUs is, at least partially, elsewhere.

I am pleased to announce that the SSSE3 emulator has been ported to AMD64!

Here is a kernel for 10.7.5, please test it :star_sunglasses:

BTW, what flag do I have to use to enable the ssse3_emu?

 

 

WITH: -enable_ssse3emu

 

I couldn't find any line that said the emu was enabled like this one:

Either WITH: or WITHOUT: -enable_ssse3emu

 

both flags gave the me similar result: stuck at "Kernel is LP64"

and the FSB freq still has not been corrected yet, even I've already installed the cparm's bootloader

I have now booted with the last kernel Andys. I've adapted the driver in S / L / E . I think that I need to modify the network card driver. otherwise it looks very positive on Phenom II X6.

I have taken the IONetworkingFamily.kext from 10.7.4 and the kext's Lnx2mac RTL8xxx, the boot is OK, but it stops at:

Boot with 10.8.3:

I then removed the SleepEnabler.kext, everything boots up very quickly, then the screen goes dark and a beep comes.

test with Montain Lion 10.8.3 with sleepenabler boot flag: fips_mode=0 cpus=6 npci=0x3000 maxmem=4096 -enable_ssse3emu -s darkwake=0 pmVersion=0

with Kernel Panic and Beep!!

My Lion System passes LP64 but then it hangs too.

Had a look in the kernel log and found out at which part it stocks:

I can't test on lion just now. I need a working 64 bit AppleNForceATA. I have the one posted by Andy on hi topic about it. It loads on ML but not Lion. Can anyone help out.

Without it Still Waiting for boot device...

 

I don't have an option for AHCI in my bios at all.
