dexs Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 hello, i am new to the mac world.... having only just successfullt installed osx 10.4.6 on my dell 5150 p4 3.0 ghz machine.... i have tried to install the update 10.4.7 but when ever i do the os freezez and doesnt recover... i herd that you have to instsall the installer cd which i am getting now but if someone knows of another way to do this please let me know. also i have a nvidia graphcics card for the machine and have also downloaded drivers but its in a .bin file and i dont know how to access that. any help would be welcomed with open arms.... thank you fro your time Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27892-update-issues/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's the official apple release that will kill your installation or there's an unofficial one that's safe to use.
