Will Ryan
I installed osx86 with a 10.4.6 Myz dvd. Right when the installation started, the mouse was in the top left corner of the screen, and wouldn't move. If you clicked the left mouse button, the pointer would move a bit to the right, then stop. If you continued to click, it would keep moving that little bit until it hits the right side of the screen. I thought maybe it would only be like this during setup, so I managed to get through all the steps using my keyboard, which obviously works. I then took out the dvd, and booted up. Same thing. osx runs fine, but mouse still doesn't work. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27846-mouse-doesnt-work/ Share on other sites
edmoncu
are you using a USB mouse? been having that problems on some IBM ThinkCentres. What I did is to temporarily plug-in another USB device (another mouse, flashdrive, etc) and the mouse worked. Will Ryan
Gah. No, it's a ps2 (haha I think that's what it's called) mouse. And installing osx86 is my only option, I can't get back into windows at all.
