Huckleberry Pie
K, so I managed to troubleshoot some error in Premiere Pro CS5 concerning subtitles, as booting into safemode seems to do the trick. My question is that is there a way to, like, roll back OSX so that only the fonts that came bundled with the system are loaded? Or is there a list of default fonts for SL, as well as any known problematic stuff?
rlf
Generally, /System/Library/Fonts are the default fonts. /Library/Fonts are the fonts added by other programs. But there are exceptions. Also /Applications/Font Book under the File menu there is a "Restore Standard Fonts…" item.

rlf
I don't have that Restore Defaults option in my Font Book. I'm sorry, I'm running Lion and it is available there. I did not think there had been any significant changes between Snow Leopard and Lion for Font Book. I also examined a 10.6.7 install DVD. It comes with fonts already installed in /Library/Fonts. You will have to sort them out relative to what other programs add. Huckleberry Pie
OK, let me have a check with my font library. I'm not really that arsed to perform a reinstall just to make Premiere work, that's why I asked for some font info.
