jamiethemorris
I have a MBP with a lot of software on it that I'd rather not install, so I usually clone my hard drive when putting it in a new computer. I was wondering if it's possible to install Lion on the hard drive (without overwriting the data of course) using ###### + ###### or something similar, just as you would when doing an upgrade to snow leopard. This is one thing that is making me hesitant to build a hackintosh desktop, so any advice would be appreciated. Gringo Vermelho
Yes, it's possible. Clone it and use a Chameleon boot CD that's compatible with your hardware to boot it...and see what happens. Once you get that far post again.
