Do you have any problems with colors?

I don't remember which connectors I patched in that kext to be honest. Pithecia has only 2 of them, so probably you won't have VGA port, only HDMI. On the other hand, if you want to use VGA, better switch to Lion. In ML I noticed some weird system crashes when changing resolution with mirroring on VGA screen enabled.

I can't compile my dsdt.aml give me an error with dsdtse.

I upload my dsdt Ioreg vgabios edid and original Ati6000Cont from iatkos ml2.

I use atkos Ml2 10.8.2, my notebook HP pavilion g4 1204tx.

no, my graphics card is ATi 6470m, the dsdt here is for ati 6650m

i cant get this graphics card working.

try these but my kext is for 10 . 8 .3 ! so you must get a 10.8.3 udate combo

That DSDT wont work for him. Only identical motherboards can use the same DSDT, he will get a kernel panic.

Thats not the vgabios of the AMD gpu, it's the Intels instead, I dont exactly know how to extract the AMD one if you have Intel and AMD, wait for Trucker MK's answer

 

Edit: Try this way:

1) Download GPU-Z, select AMD gpu in the bottom.

2) Then press on the chip button with a green arrow on it

ATI card won't work if integrated Intel HD is not disabled in BIOS. Simple as that.

i not even show the bios version on gpuz and get an error bios reading not support.

There was no way to disable the intel gpu in the bios? Try googeling, it may have weird names in bios. Once you get it disabled in bios you can use another way to receive the vbios

Thank you so much, with second method I could see QE enabled screen on HDMI output with monitor.

I am using HP Elitebook 8570p which as AMD Radeon HD 7570M.

I used your attached 10.8.3_GE_ATI6000Controller.kext.zip file with Chameleon_boot_v2.zip boot file

 

It shows black and white stripes on my main (laptop) screen and I guess this is because of the difference between 6650M and 7570M (7500M/7600M Series)

I see 7570M model's device ID is 0x6841 (Thames) where as 6650M's model ID is 0x6741

Any suggestions for this?

See the defference, AppleDisplay - AppleBacklightDisplay, realy don't know what's the defference but ....

The difference is that one with backlight works correctly and the one without it - with 16bit colors

BTW, I have a feeling that even when my monitor works with normal color, refresh rate is a bit lower than in Windows. Doesn't make as much difference as 16bit color though.

You are welcome, guys i realy don't like repeating this every time someone asks me about other than the 6650M. I need VBIOS, DSDT and ioreg output is very useful. Without these i can't say anything. I need to check if your GC is included in Chameleon or even we can try the DSDT patch, but i need those things first.

No, that's just the clamshell hack "Device (PNLF)" which i have in my DSDT. Clamshell hack = AppleBacklightDisplay, without it = AppleDisplay. Tried it both ways, no changes.
