blacksheep
7950 vs 7970 in a MP 5,1. Both flashed and OC'ed. 7970 is "crappy" Rev. 2.1 without Boost and with locked voltage. Didn't want to go higher than 1025. 7950 has TDP bumped from 163 to 183 W. 7970 from 217 to 235 W.

blacksheep
Newer not always equals the better... 10.9.3 is worse in OpenGL compared to 10.8.5. I purposefully ran Basic preset to rule out tesselation and here is what I got. Card runs @1150/6000, Mac Pro 5,1.
