Salve buoo, mi è capitato di visitare un link proposto da te ad un'altro utente e mi sono imbattuto su un bios patchato

P8Z68-DELUXE-ASUS-3603.ROM mentre il mio e la vers.

3304 patched BIOS preparato da te .

 

Chiedo un tuo parere su questo già pronto, quanto possa essere affidabile ?

è cambiato qualcosa di sostanziale per installare

quello nuovo?

oppure è più opportuno lasciare il tuo al suo posto cosi come sta , anche perchè carta che vince non si dovrebbe cambiare.

Io l'ho messo (bios non patchato e AICPUPM patchato). Non so cosa cambi rispetto alla 3304

So many dead links and questions/answers in languages other than English - I need help and it seems half of the help in this thread is dead. :(

 

 

I'm got ML installed, and am attempting to keep it vanilla by using a USB boot disk set aside specifically for booting the OS X installation (this is a dual, actually a triple-boot system, with Win8 and Win Server 2012 installed).

 

I tried to follow only this guide, but thus far the system will not boot. I know I haven't been following it exactly, because I've got an overclock i7 2600K (@ 4.5GHz), and to reach that and stable certain things had to be disabled in the BIOS (C3, something else). So I'm not patching my BIOS, and thus I'm trying to work with a patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext.

But I get KPs, and they seem to point at that very kext.

 

I still need to edit the SSDT's (SSDT.aml, SSDT-1.aml) and, if I understand correctly, the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, but I haven't found exactly what gets edited.

 

I CAN boot into my Mountain Lion system using the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] USB disk - but it's far from stable, not even remotely close to stable. So it's got the right combo of kexts to at least bring the system up, but that's about it. So, the system lives in there somewhere - but using a clean and simplified boot loader hasn't worked just yet. I think part of the help might be the NullCPUPowerManagement that's included in [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] but I can't stand for that. I want my speedstepping, and I'm hoping to be able to get it without patching my BIOS - this very guide seems to imply it is possible.

I might be missing some essential steps, which is partly what I am hoping to figure out here.

 

By using a USB bootloader (instead of installing Chameleon/Chimera on the hard disk, I have it on a USB drive), do I have to do anything else when it comes to kexts? Do I just drop the kexts into EE or SLE on the USB drive, or am I missing a step?

Hi, I just want to give to the people which own this board an update and let them know what I use to use this board with OS X.

Extensions / Drivers / DSDT, SSDT:

SATA - P8Z68SATAControllers.kext
eSATA - JMicron36xAHCIEnabler.kext
Ethernet

Intel - AppleIntelE1000e.kext

Realtek - RealtekRTL8111.kext (Mieze, probably the best) / RealtekR1000.kext (Slice) / RealtekRTL81xx.kext (LnxMac, 0.090) / AppleRealtekRTL8169.kext - RTGNIC v2.0.6 (Realtek official driver)

USB 3.0 - GenericUSBXHCI.kext (delete PXHCD.kext!!)
HD Audio - (I know I should not do that!) MB -> Drivers -> Realtek ALC8xx -> With DSDT -> ALC889 (on your DSDT set the layout-id to 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00)
FakeSMC / Plugins - kozlek's branch (the best)
Bluetooth - ath3k-firmware-uploader-V2 (uses the same firmware you use in Windows with the latest driver: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\AtherosBt.bin)
DSDT - patch (pay attention on some devices that will be copied because the patch wasn't made well)

HDMI audio (should work. Use with patched AppleHDA. I didn't test it) - this patch

SSDT - I deleted SSDT.aml and SSDT-1.aml from the guide and I made one with this script (it should find automatically your CPU)

If you don't use a patched bios: Power Management KP fix - SpeedStepper patch

Bios Settings:

I didn't use anything from the guide.
Instead, I enabled the HD3000 so AirPlay should work and also because if I disable it the screen won't wake up after sleep.

ciaoo giofrida anche io ho la stessa mobo ho usato la guida di buoo con bios 3304, sembra andare bene ma volevo provare la tua soluzione per curiosità ti dispiacerebbe passarmi i tuoi file gli eseguibili naturalmente se vanno bene,

Per l'audio, questa è l'ultima versione di AppleHDA da MB:

AppleHDA.kext.zip

 

Per il bluetooth, scarica il pacchetto, estrailo in una cartella. Apri il terminale e scrivi "sudo " e trascina il file Install nella finestra del terminale. Premi invio e inserisci la password. Guarda se il bluetooth è già stato abilitato nelle preferenze del sistema, altrimenti riavvia il PC.

AppleHDA nada, ma tu lo usi sulla P8Z68 deluxe? io uso quello di buoo che troviamo al 1° post della guida, volevo provare quello da te indicato pensando fosse migliore perché amo molto ascoltare musica

Devi estrarre il tuo DSDT, patcharlo con la patch che ho messo nel post ma attenzione! perché crea dei Device che esistono già e devi aggiungere le modifiche a quelli pre-esistenti. Metti a posto gli errori, se hai problemi scrivi qui. Quindi, nel Device HDEF vai nel modulo _DSM e cambia il layout-id a 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00.

Altrimenti passami il DSDT e faccio tutto io :).

 

Edit: avendo un po' di tempo libero provo a patchare da solo AppleHDA per 10.8.3. Se riesco lo metto online.

Ciaoo Giofrida io mi sto preparando il pc per la versione 10.8.4 uso un ssdt patchato da buoo, siccome nel mio ho installato una scheda wi-fi TP-Link TL-WN781ND che prima non vedeva adesso con ssdt nuovo e la vers. 10.8.4 me la vede a 1 colpo in piu ho installato i file delle usb 3,0 postate da te e il bluetooth io ho gia un AppleHDA per 10.8.3 e va anche con la 10.8.4 se vuoi te lo passo me lo passò a suo tempo buoo e me lo trascino dalla versione 10.6.8 ho chiesto del tuo pensando che avesse qualità superiori, se lo vuoi provare te lo giro.

 

adesso sto provando ad usare la nuova ssdt con snow partendo da zero per vedere come si comporta visto che finora emulavo un Macmini 5.3 mentre con la nuova e un iMac 12.2

Ciao perdu.

Mi piacerebbe provare l'AppleHDA di buoo se riesci allegalo nel tuo post. Questo perchè ho riscontrato dei problemini con quello di toleda (tmx86):

- microfono basso oppure ambiente rumoroso (impossibile usare dettatura nè il nuovo google now su chrome OS X)

- AC97 (mi ha detto che con AppleHDA non funzionano, spero che con un altro si, anche se credo che abbia ragione e che debba cambiarli in HD)

 

Per quanto riguarda l'SMBIOS sei libero di usare quello che vuoi (sempre che rispecchi la CPU. iMac12,2 => 2nd Gen. i5 => i5 2500K).

Salve giofrida ho finito adesso di rifinire Snow funzina perfettamente tranne il bluetooth e le usb 3,0 la scheda wi-fi la riconosce al primo colpo senza installare altro, audio sembra perfetto almeno nell'ascolto, ti allego il kext, provalo poi mi fai sapere non e che hai la modifica per le usb 3,0 su Snow e magari anche il bluetooth-

 

se fai in fretta ti aspetto in linea

Lo proverò, ma non capisco perchè stai installando Snow Leopard. Comunque le USB 3.0 vanno solo su 10.7.5+ e 10.8+.

Io Amo Snow ecco perché ci tengo tanto, uso anche gli altri ma non so perche è quello che mi attira di più, per le

USB 3.0 lo sapevo ma pensavo ti fosse capitato di trovare qualcuno come

buoo in rete e che si fosse appassionato a sistemare con qualche stratagemma le USB 3,0.

 

Il Kext provalo ma sono sicuro che ti soddisferà

Ho provato l'AppleHDA di buoo. Rispetto a quello di toleda aumenta di poco il guadagno sul microfono, ma la dettatura non funziona correttamente lo stesso. Le AC97' non funzionano.

E all'avvio c'è un errore con hda-gfx e AppleHDAController.

Penso che terrò quello di toleda al momento.
