Hi my name is John,

 

I'm totally new at this. First time building a computer.

 

My build:

cpu....................Intel i7 960

mother board.......Gigabyte x58a-ud5

power supply.......OCZ MosXStream Pro 600W

ram....................Mushkin Silverline 3x2GB

Video Card...........Asus ATI Radion 5770 HD

DVD drive............Samsung sata

Hard Drive...........Western Digital caviar Green 1tb

case...................Antec p183

 

Picked up a copy of Mac OSX Snow Leopard from the Apple store Yesterday. I build the computer last night and attempted to install with tonymac method. Didn't work. The OS looks like it loads up and gets stuck at the grey screen with a white apple and spinner. I have received some new insight on my project so i will be retrying this evening and let you know what happens.

Hello, my name is Marco, this is a great forum, it has given me the ability to install snow leopard on my Dell GX620. Tried other forums and got nothing :) now i wish i could add replys to other topics to see if they can help me out on a graphics card.

I am Advanced User on Windows, and soon at Mac also. and i know some about developing(1st class).

I can speak arabic and english.

 

I am glad to ask questions together and answer!

 

well mine is VAIO-VGN325E Laptop and I installed a clean Vanilla Mac!

Hi guys,

 

I'm Siem, from the Netherlands. I've been running a hackintosh for a few moths now, but still got questions that google can't answer. I came to this forum to ask my own questions and to help other users with the experience I've gained through my own trial and error. Glad to be a part of the forum!
