Absolutely, just make sure you're reading up on the relevant stuff to you. It can be a little bit of a mine field, with older versions of macOS and what not

I have just bought a Gigabyte Aorus Pro and Intel i5 9600K so will be starting my build tomorrow. Already have case, SSD's and such, just need to get Mojave installed from the USB stick.

I have the following parts ready to assemble today

Aorus Pro

i5 9600K

XPG Adata SX8200 pro 512gb

Team Group 2 x 16gb DDR4 3200

Sapphire Nitro 590 8gb

 

Hopefully everything goes according to plan. I have downloaded @AudioGod EFI folder so in theory I should be OK, will have to see later on today.

i have a problem since updated my opencore to 0.6.2
My audio output is set to headphones, and every time i turn on the pc , i need set this on internal speakers

and the other problem is that sometimes my hackintosh wake up from sleep after 2 second and sometimes its work fine

i've checked my config.plist in sanity checker and dortania and its all good but these problems still exist 
Can you help me out please ?

Hi there,

First post here, but I've been lurking for a long time. My current rig is a "PowerHack G5", since I also collect vintage Macintoshes and Apple gear as a hobby. I've been using it as my main computer for the last 2 years, running High Sierra, Mojave and Catalina using Clover. I'm currently trying to learn my way with OpenCore, and I intend to do a clean install of Big Sur using OC when it gets out of Beta.
