Long time Mac user and former system programmer here. Interested in trying a laptop hackintosh for video editing using Resolve but overwhelmed by all the info about various laptops. Can anyone help with what laptops are good for this right now - preferably today since it's Cyber Monday? Late notice - sorry about that! I'm hoping for under $1600.

I have had two diffrent hackintosh systems in two diffrent laptops.  First was using this Mammoth Method back in the days if I remember it correctly.

 

Don't know what to say anymore. If questions just ask.
