Hi all, my name is Sylwester and recently I have installed ML 10.8.3 on my HP EliteBook 8440p with Nvidia GPU.

My first attempts to install SL and ML 10.8.1 failed completly and was a little dissapointed, but then I got installation with vanilla 10.8.3 and since then I am positively surprised - the GPU started out of box without need for any configuration, in native 1440x900 resolution on my display.

I have struggled a little with sound (and still every other time after login when sound drivers start the system hangs), and I just have configured wifi TP-Link card with help from this forum

So, the only thing I am still missing is APM working, to be able to put computer into sleep and successfully wake it up...

My name is João (John), i'm portuguese, and i'm studying Architecture at the moment. I started trying to hackintosh in 2009 with my old Acer laptop, no good luck with the Intel 4965 wireless, so tried on my desktop, had Snow leopard 10.6.2 by hazard up and running pretty well, but i retired from hackintosh for a while and now i'm back to try Mountain Lion on my old desktop.

I like this forum very much, I have learned very much about software here and this is where I started reading about hackintosh so, I hope to have a nice time here!

Hi everyone !

 

I'm Julian from France, I've semi-built an Acer V3-771G hackintosh (Mac could start but there were no graphic acceleration and only USB 2.0 was working), then, I kill my PC (note : don't touch bios if you don't know what are you doing x)), and now, I'm with my new Asus N76VZ with ML 10.8.3 (there is only the graphics card and the wireless card not working).

 

I'm a studient and even if I understand English, my sentences tend to be chaotic I'll try to be as comprehensive as possible

 

I came here because I try to install clover, because my PC works with UEFI, and I meet a lot of problems but I found no solution.

 

I hope I could help the community in the futur.
