Hi - big thanks to the knowledgeable people who make it so much easier for those of us less able. I installed a Kalyway OSX onto an Advent netbook, bought the appropriate Dell wifi card and was up and running remarkably quickly. The only issue was the trackpad was a little too sensitive, but I had a perfectly usable Mac netbook, long before the iPad provided sort of similar size. The netbook was perfect for sitting on the train for an hour and a half commuting to London every day.

I'm from Belgium, an intermediate Linux user (I'd say roughly a year of using it as main OS should rid me of the "noob" title ) and I'm trying to get OS X up and running on my PC, once I figure out where to start... I used to have an old iMac dual booting OS X 10.5/ Windows XP, but until my sister gets a new PC, which I hope is soon, I won't be able to use any Mac-only tools required for my Hackintosh endavours...

 

Oh, and I apologize in advance for any stupid questions I'm bound to have...

afte I started with the Mac LC for create and now I install osx 10.7.2 or an equivalent version on my PC

Hayduke from SWFL, working on multiple Hackintosh projects, constantly in flux.

 

I'm currently attempting trying to get something working on a Pentium 4 Compaq Presario 2500 (I'll ask questions in the appropriate forum) and a custom build from scratch (iCore3) in a Craftsman Toolbox I got for $5 and did a custom paint job on that I want to turn into a mobile jukebox I can control with my iPhone. If I can pull this off it's gonna the THE BOMB

 

Any help with the Persario 2500 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
