Hello,

My name is Adam, I installed iAtkos s3 v2 after discovering it around 3-4 days ago, I recently installed it 2 days ago on my dell xps m1530. I plan to post tutorials once I learn the system more simply because everyone seems curious on what specs to choose for iatkos s3 v2 with no answers for dell xps m1530. Also hope to get some help on here while also trying to contribute myself. I also plan to start learning some mac apps so if anyone knows some interesting ones let me know. I will forsure be trying out final cut pro and iWeb.

Thanks!

Hey all! My name is Matt from NM USA. I am writing this to you from my OS X Lion 10.7 install on a Dell Inspiron 530s. I've been playing around with OSx86 systems for almost two years now. My first attempt was with a Dell Mini 10v that I had gotten as a gift and just randomly typed into google "fun things to do with a mini 10v" LOL and well....here we are. I now run 10.7 on my HP Mini-210, the Dell I am using here and have been trying (VERY unsuccessfully I might add) to get SL to go on my AMD Toshiba but I am willing to call that one a lost cause. I use Linux Mint DE 64 for my laptop. Dual boot SL/Ubuntu 11.4 on my Mini and have a separate drive with 10.7 Lion for the Mini. I would say I am above average to advanced with PC knowledge. If anyone needs questions answered about any of the rigs I am running shoot me a message. Cheers All!!

Hello all,

my name's Jono. I kept running across InsanelyMac while searching for advice on cramming OS X onto a CR-48, and found it to be a well versed community. Hopefully in time I'll be able to dive in to the discussions and help someone else out in turn.

Keep up the good work!

Hi,

I'm Zero7, I'm 19.

I live in the UK and do Music Production.

I registered because I was seriously thinking about converting my current windows 7 64bit

pc into a hackintosh since I was going to format it anyway.

And I've been meaning to get a mac in the long run, so I thought about trying it.

My Build:

Windows 7 64bit Ultimate

i5-2500k sandybridge @3.3ghz [4 CPUs]

ASUS P8P67-LE Motherboard

8GB corsair DDR3 RAM 1333mhz

1GB PNY NVIDIA GTX 460

500W Corsair Power Supply

Fractal Design R3 Case in Black

2X 1TB Samsung F3 hard drives

Samsung DVD-RW drive

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler

Can anyone advise me if installing a mac osx on this build is sensible?

*pm me for replies*

And last but no means least.

HELLO :)

Hey everyone, the name is Jason!

I am not exactly new to these forums or the hackintosh scene, but this marks the first time that I am going all in on hackintosh. I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Arlington studying French and Linguistics (double major). I have a huge passion for technology and gadgets. I read engadget regularly and I love the Lord Jesus.

I have been tweaking, upgrading, fixing, and hacking computers since I was in junior high. My dad used to complain about how after I would get on his computer, nothing would work anymore. Well, you learn by making mistakes! I am no expert in any one thing computer related. I am more of a jack of all trades type of person. I know how to troubleshoot computer problems because I have "broken" mine so many times and had to fix it! Anyhow, I own an Acer Aspire Revo R3700 with an Intel D525 clocked at 1.8GHz, 4GB of DDR3, Intel 320 series 80gb SSD, nVidia ION 2 on-board and some realtek audio/network hardware. I currently have Snow Leopard 10.6.7 up and running! It marks the first real success for me and OSX.

For me, this is the holy grail of computer operating systems. It is the one that has eluded my skills to modify sufficiently and install in a fashion where everything is working well. I had tried in the past to install it on a Dell Laptop running AMD hardware and a Radeon 3200 HD with almost no success.

Anyhow, I look forward to learning a lot from the masters of hackery here and hope I can eventually contribute to the project.
