Hi. I'm corey from NJ and my name says it all.

 

I've been into computers ever since I was about 6. My dad told me that the Mac OS is unknown territory. When I was little he used to tell me I'd spend more money learning how to use them than I would for the computer itself. I took it as a challenge.

 

I'm here because I was told about the OSx86 project (or something like it) 5 years ago...ironically by my dad. Then I was a little too young to manipluate my computer, but now I have 2 desktops and a laptop that I can play with.

I intend to lurk more and post less.

 

I'm here because I need to use Mac for my music work but have no intentions of giving money to Apple.

 

Otherwise I know Windows well enough and have a working linux server carrying out mundane tasks.

 

Anyway, I'm here to learn and see if I can't improve my audio rig by making my nice enough laptop do more with an operating system it wasn't intended to have.
