ciao a tutti!!

Just a Hi to all who are interested . My name is FLoris. I already passed the second test after a few minutes *\o/*, but still feel like a NBOoogfb. I hope to learn lots in these fora, and in particular about the machine I want to build with the greatest OS around.

Cu around!

Hey all. I'm perfectw3ap0n (affectionately known as Seppo, as well.) I'm new to the forums here, but not to the kalyway family. =D I'm currently attempting to dualboot windows 7 with kalyway osx 10.5.2, as I type this. Wish me luck. If I can get this working, I will write up everything that I did and post it here. ;)

EDIT: Forget about the dualbooting windows 7 and kalyway. =/ Didn't realize there wasn't a boot.ini file for Windows 7

Hello all,

I'm Tom from Indianapolis, and I'm new to Hackintoshing. I just completed my first one using the surefire Dell Mini 10v to set one up for my wife. Doing that has me thinking I'd love to have one running on a 15" or 17" laptop (rumor has it the Dell Inspirons are good candidates). I'm hoping that as I hang around you guys I'll learn how to do this. Anyway nice to meet you guys and looking forward to learning from and working with you guys in the near future.

Hi,

I've been using macs since i was little, but am still basically a noob as far as this site is concerned. The last couple years of college however I've been stuck using mostly Windows, the cost of a new mac being slightly... prohibitive. Now that I've found this site I hope I can work out a nice hackintosh middleground. :-)

My name's Russ- and I've been clean and sober for... Oh, wait- wrong forum... :P

Been around Apple since its inception back in the Apple II days and though I thought I knew a lot about the platform [or any other platform for that matter] it turns our I only know half as much as I need!

Currently floating through life on an MDD G4 with dual 846mhz and maxed out ram- but I've also got a G4 Quicksilver I'll be gutting to make into a contemporary G5-ish machine through the observations of this forum.

I simply go by Russ [Gee "ClericRuss"- looong stretch for that username, huh?] and will most likely be The Olde Farte of this forum- time will tell, I'm sure...

Hi all

Just got a system mostly working last night. Sound has issues that I need to sort out.

New too the world of mac os. Wanted to learn how to write code for a i-phone and i-pad, so needed to jump in, i-think. :(

Even though I added in busratio=31 into the com.apple.boot.plist, I kp if I don't type in the busratio to begin with.

I ended up borrowing the system in my signature, becuase the HP D530 that I tried, hangings when I get into safari

9never the same place twice) even when I open with rosetta.

Thanks

Glenn
