HI, I am new to the forum but not to computers and Mac's. I am currently waiting on UPS to deliver my i7 960, HD, Power supply, and GTS 450. Then I will be constructing my first full Hack Pro. Sabertooth x58 monster. Wish me luck and I will be trying to write everything down step by step to post a great tut for this MB. Before I start I am confident going into it because of this forum and the great people who have posted thousands of times on this setup. Hope fully I will be able to post a clean one step install guide for this and combine the vast amount of info into a quickly usable document.

Hello... my name is Benjamin, but forum-types call me 'Benj' when there's more than one Ben on a forum...

 

I am relatively new to hackint0shing... been focusing off and on for a year or two with trying to get VMPlayer to take OSX86...

 

Got JAS 10.4.8 installed... working on tweaks... :thumbsup_anim:

 

my pc:

 

HP Pavilion dv6

P7450 CPU

Intel GFX

4GB RAM

large HD (16GB for OSX)

Vista 64bit all updates

internal LCD res: 1360? x 768

 

latest VMPlayer

Hello :D I'm a computer science student from the UK. Since I'm A) a computer scientist and :thumbsup_anim: a student, I am turning my hp mini 311 into a hackintosh. (Typing from it now!) I joined so I could ask questions/give advice in the threads relating to this netbook running osx.

 

P.S. I know this is the wrong thread for it, but nobody happens to have a UK keyboard layout for the 311 do they? ;D

hi all, im gav from sheffield uk!!

 

ive just gotten myself up and running on my home built pc and currently running 10.6.7 updated via software update!!

 

its been a long slog but its been entertaining and over the last month i have learned alot about osx!!

 

i'm trying to get pocket cam working with 10.6.7 not sure how to go about it so if theres anyone doing the same drop me a line!!

I am a web developer and this forum, along with others, helped me to successfully get 10.6.7 on my system with every component working. Thus, I am here to share my install so that people who have encountered similar issues may benefit from my aggravations.
