Hi.. I'm new of this forum.. I'm italian.. So excuse me for my bad english.. I'd like to install Mac OS X on my pc, with triple boot.. Now I've got Windows 7 and Linux Ubuntu 10.4.. Well.. I hope to do that.. Thanks to all for the help that I'm sure you'll give me..

New guy here. Really glad I came across this forum, it apears to have a lot of useful information on it. I have been anti Mac for along time, but my friend and I were bored the other day and decided to see what it's all about. Thanks to a guide I found elsewhere I was able to get OS X 10.6 up and running in VMWare fairly smoothly. Then I came across this guide here and it made things SOO much easier. I have just about everything working well except the audio. I tried using the link to the drivers posted in MSoK's guide but could no get them to work. I reverted back to the old drivers I used from the previous guide I found and they work, but seem to be a little slow at time. Other than that everything is running pretty good.

 

I'm looking forward to playing around with it and reading up on the forums as much as I can. I still don't see me selling my custom built desktop any time soon to buy a mac though. lol

Hello, I've been a long-time reader of the forums. Tried to make a new post to ask some pertinent questions, but was rejected! Guess I should get posting here!

 

I've been using Macs since the OS 8 days and have been a Windows user since the end of the Windows 2K days and the beginning of the Windows ME (LOL Millennium) days. I've also dabbled with Unix (very briefly) and Linux. I love Ubuntu! I've also tried many other distros (can't remember them all!)

 

Well, here's to posting.

 

I'm trying to find a 10.6 distro or a way to get it working on my aging AMD machine. If anyone has any pointers, they are greatly appreciated! :wacko:
