Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I have been around these forums since 2007, when i first installed 10.4.3 on a thinkpad t40. Since then i have had OS X 10.5 and 10.6 running on my core 2 duo desktop. I now plan to take that desktop and make it an HTPC as i won an i7-975 and dx58so from intel in the summer.

hi, I'm Jay. Built me a hackintosh months ago, been using Macs for about 6 years now. Before that, I was a slackware linux guy (REAL big dork! ;) Got sucked into the mac world somehow, so now I'm here to stay. Lurked around on this forum plenty, always checking the wiki, and still trying to finish this hackintosh to a workable (it does work, but could work better) state.

Always tinkering, always learning. Just having fun with my hardware.

Hi, I'm rocknrofl and I'm a 24 years old graphic designer.

I work yet with a white Macbook but I wish to create my first Hackintosh to improve my workflow with a more powerful "open" system. Changing Hardware configuration is important to mantain the computer always "fresh" and never obsolete, but MacPRO is definitely out of my budget and i would like to build an imac 27 clone...

So, Here I'm :P

I Hope that someone will help me :)

P.S. I'm Italian...sorry for my bad english :(

Hi,

I'm Ian. I have OSX 10.6.6 running on my EX58-UD4P with digital dreamers script. Thanks DD! Also I have a Sapphire HD4850 1GB w/ DVI, HDMI, VGA working(no dual display). Took me a long long time to figure it was as simple as installing SwitchResX (no ATY_Init or EVOenabler, just LegacyATI4800Controller.kext)and configuring the scan rate. I found a lot of people having trouble with that card but not many success stories.

I'm just posting here because it tried to do a reply on digital_dreamers thread but don't have the permissions..

Hey all! How's life? Mine's good :D

I am a mac fanboy. I love my iPod and all things mac. I'm also a huuuge PC gamer, which unfortunalty means I need to have windows on my custom rig. I'm hoping to get Snow Leopard up and running on my PC though, which is why i'm joining up with this community. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all, and hopefully finding some answers to my questions. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be the one with all the answers ;)
