Hello my name is bump,

I am somewhat new to the ways of the MAC. I have some basic Linux skills, just enough to get into trouble. I tend to be more of a router / switch and PC guy. I am working at becoming more familiar with the Mac product to round out my hardware knowledge.

Hi All

I'm a proper noob in the world of the Mac. I work as a Wintel Architect during the day, and am seeing more and more Macs on my Active Directory based network. A couple of years back I bought the first iPhone, and was instantly an Apple fan, although I've never bought or really used a Mac computer.

I'm here to change that, to immerse myself in the Mac ways to try and learn how they work.

I have an old Dell D620 which I've installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on, fairly successfully, but run into the dreaded "Intel 3945 Wifi issue"...! So I have a computer with no network connection currently.

Hi,

I'm pretty new to the OSX thing, but interested in developing iPhone apps. 1st step was to get a mac. 2nd, to get a vm going on my dev machine, 3rd is to fully understand the OS from a techie perspective.

Lots to learn :) Look forward to meeting you all.

Cheers,

Rendition

:thanks_speechbubble: Hey I'm very new to this forum and am interested in building a Hackintosh so I guess this would be the place to start (at least I hope so ) My name is Bruce and I am 52 years old ,presently running a few Linux boxes; Mint 9,10 LMDE,and just to keep everything interesting 1 old XP . I must admit I have never built a computer or had much to do with programming (then again I started using a computer in 2007 if truth be told )so if I ask a question and I don't quite understand the response please realize that I am a true newbie.Thank you for the opportunity to learn something new.

Hello guys, my name is Stefan and I'm from a small place in Europe (wouldn't even bother telling you because I know you don't know it - it's so small). I love MAC OS X so I decided to install it on my HP pavilion laptop. Hope to have a nice time here on this forum. Cheers
