D-an-W
kozlek, is it no longer possible to do a manual install now the binaries have been removed?
Riley Freeman
You could extract them from the pkg file with Pacifist and then install them manually. In the long run though it's probably best (ie less work) to go with the new installer route, at least if you update regularly.
D-an-W
Thanks, I'll give it a go. I much prefer to do this type of thing manually.

p.H
Well, kozlek. I hope when you provide the pkg installer, you can also provide the kext files just like before. I try to find the kexts in Binary folder but I can't find it. I can only find menucracker. Hope you read this and provide it

D-an-W
You can get them with Pacifist (As I found out recently) but I would still prefer just the kexts also.

But i don't prefer it. I'd rather the kext files just like what they used to be.

p.H
p.H You can build it from project file. Thanks for you info. I used to build it manually but failed. But this time, it succeeded. But there is only HWsensor app. I can't find the separate kexts.
Riley Freeman
But this time, it succeeded. But there is only HWsensor app. I can't find the separate kexts. Look at AppleGeek's second picture. You have to build apps and drivers. The xcode project defaults to building just the app.

RehabMan
Can't use it with ML - 10.8.2 won't boot. I had a similar experience when I tried using it on my HP Probook 4530s. That was a month ago, using a version I built from the repo -- I intend to someday try the latest again. Currently using Slice's version built from sources without problems. Strange thing was, booting would work "ignore caches" -f (sensors were not working though), but not using kernel cache. It would always hard hang during boot. Some other folks with Probook were able to get it to work, but they had more advanced chips (chips with VT-d enabled). I have just an i3-2310m on my Probook so no VT-d. So it could have something to do with that. Eventually, when I have time, I'll try again, as my desktop (i7-2600) works fine with 10.8.2 and kozlek's branch of FakeSMC.kext, but not the laptop. Slice
Good job on the project. thank you Is there a way to monitor the voltage of my AMD 6850? Do you have any info how to do this? Any samples from Linux? If yes I can add this functionality and then kozlek may add to his branch. I am owner of HD6670 and so I am interesting to monitor more on Radeons.
